You can say a lot of things about Megyn Kelly, but you can't say she has ever been a party line tower.

 

She and Shep Smith have their moments. But they have been good soldiers more often than not over the years. I admit that since the Tea Party craziness that sidelined middle road Republicans, both have been the more independent minded of the FoxNews stalwarts.
