Harris is back to being Harris and Giles is back to being Giles. Let's see if Giles can do it properly this time in the closer role

I was ask8ng for gregersonright after that first game against Tampa in which Harris nearly blew it. He's simply not a closer.
Hinch is notorious for taking three or four examples too long to get the gist of what is going on.

Agree....the guy can't cut it as a closer. He's an accident waiting to happen...and DOES !

It was a little late to pull Harris is what I was saying not to win the game. Why all the love for Harris he has been horrible since before the all star break.

where did I write that? The poster said Hinch was directly responsible for 2 games. I was trying to find out if that poster (and everyone who agrees, I guess) was 100% in on going away from Harris coming out of the All Star break.

I don't blame Hinch for trying to go back to Harris on Saturday. I do blame him for doing it again today...but this game isn't over.

We should give the closer role back to Luke and let him have a shot at it again. He has a 1.23 era in the last 7 games.

Let's pick 'em up. A walk off would really do the team good.

"horrible" is aggressive for his pre-break play. It wasn't great, but not awful. But, Gregerson had been removed recently for awful play that everyone b****ed about. Giles has finally come around, but 1 HR and everyone complains about him too.

There wasn't a clear "get Harris the hell out of there" before or during the break--both because he wasn't awful, and because there wasn't a *great* option out there necessarily.

I'm all for Giles, and would've made the change to him after Saturday. (And personally would be ok with Gregerson also, though he's not my 1st choice.)
