At least she doesn't appear to be using it with a hateful intent.

Also want to give a shout out to that Santikos theater in Tomball. Nice theater, real IMAX screens.

Not even worthy of a story. Most people say idiotic things as young teenagers. Judging someone's character based on something they did when they were 14 is lame.

    Also, Nevada is hawt af.

Those girls were pretty much identical. Could have blindly thrown a dart at a wall of photos to pick the winner.

Meh... She didn't use it as a derogatory insult. She's just trying to act black. Doesn't make her a bad person, just and dumb teenager.

    4 things

    1. This video is still comedy gold
    2. He didn't use the hard R, which makes it a five letter word, odd that the black reporter of all people thought it was 6. Counting, it's not that hard.
    3. Him holding up the sign with the two separate words kills me everytime. Old white guy is having troubles understanding the word. "can you lend a n$#$a a pencil?" Hahahahahahahahahahahah
    4. Student comes off as a huuuuuuuuuuuge p***y here.

Based on context she meant to use *****s, but she didn't know how to spell it correctly.

I think a 14 year old girl calling her friends the n-word as a means of trying to imitate hip-hop music - I mean, it's a bit ridiculous to care about this - she was 14.

They don't say that word in hip hop or rap. So... no.

I don't think we need to make excuses for idiots using slurs no matter how old they are. I didn't even have to look to know she was from a former Confederate state. I guessed Georgia or South Carolina but yep, Texas just the same. It's not funny and it's not cute. I hope this follows her around as it rightfully should.

    I don't think she's a racist, but most likely a dumbass.

If you truly think this, I'd question if you have ever actually listened to rap or hip hop before.

It sucks, drawing on my own memories of being on the receiving end of some crappy stuff from white classmates at a certain point in K-12, but she was 14. That having been said, propriety matters with these publicity contests, so the organization is allowed to address it as severely as they want. I imagine the moral turpitude language and application questions are pretty clear about future and past behavior.

Actually they do, the enunciation has always been distinct but several late '80s rappers publicly conceded that originally interjecting the language was meant in part for deliberate shock value, which would have come with either form of the word.
