Part of it is the hype creating demand. Part of it it is that they always bring a good price since they've stayed popular since they came out. You'll find old Zelda games demand a good price too, just because someone is always collecting it and playing it for the first time, or people in their mid-30s are buying back their childhood toys.

I was reading online that everything was erased http://www.news.com.au/technology/g...g/news-story/968be62c0fdbc73d02d8a03aec065308 but it looks like that report was exaggerated, some iPhones i guess were just logging in with different accounts so it looked like they reset people's games
Holy crap. Is that really their response to the Three Step Bug...to make it a feature! http://www.forbes.com/sites/insertc...lled-nearby-tracking-completely/#17742d5e1787 From my testing, the Three Step Bug might have actually been a problem with Google maps, and not necessarily anything Niantic could fix or code around. My suspicion is it has something to do with Google being able to handle all the map requests possibly for billing purposes. This is due to the fact the Three Step Bug comes with a clue ... an error message from Google Maps saying the API key is invalid.
I like the new updates. Transfer is much faster. Not sure if you could favorite Pokemon before but if you could I never did.
I use favorite to mark the pokemons that are due for evolution so I can save them up and do them all at once when I'm using a lucky egg.
One great thing with marking a pokemon with as a favorite is that you cannot accidently transfer them to the professor.
The got rid of Nice, Great and Excellent XP bonus. Because apparently it was too easy to get to 2 million XP? Watching the meltdown of players from the loss of the pointless three steps is amazing.
