All the guys we brought up from AAA are doing jack squat for us they are not hitting a combined 250  Looks like Hench wanted us to tank after the all-star break S M H

Tony Kemp should have been given a second chance over Tucker. He did pretty good when he was called up and was getting better when he was sent down.

Definitely didn't miss watching Tyler White back away from fastballs right down the middle while he was down in AAA.

The Astros only beat (or lose to) bad teams...unless they beat (or lose to) the good ones.

Seen enough of Tyler White for a lifetime. Call up Reed and let the guy play.

Agree. We have plenty all or nothing guys swinging for the fences.

We nickled and dimed our way into contention last year on the backs of these over their head pitchers including Keuchel and McHugh who we thought had lasting ability. "Sure," we said, "Brent Strom was all they needed!" But little did we realize that, there was no way to reproduce a Maddux or Glavine of the 90's, because with the increased scrutiny on umps to call the game accurately, there was going to be no more of this "expanding the zone" business that regularly took place in the 90's. So here we are with a slappy pitching rotation, only one starter who can hit 94 on his fastball, and we're expecting success? These hired gun lineups in Boston, Toronto, and Detroit look at our smoke and mirrors Mickey Mouse operation and laugh. They will bow to one thing: speed.

Exactly. The all or nothing philosophy has not been a consistent success. The approaches on this team at the plate stinks but nothing is being done to change it, as if they are encouraged to swing from the heels on every pitch.
