No, got to be Johnson. Forbes was doing too well in camp not be at least on the squad for a little bit longer. I actually hope he makes the team because in case of an injury of Morris, he would be good to bring in. Delfino is just not a SF.
Actually, Lee STARTED as a restricted free agent, but the Rockets later rescinded their qualifying offer to Lee (in order to assure they'd have enough cap room to sign both Lin and Asik), making Lee an UNRESTRICTED free agent. Lee wanted to go to Boston and was willing to take less to get there. Both the Rockets and Lee did each other a favor with that S&T. The Rockets allowed Lee to get "full MLE" money by signing and trading him (Boston had already used their full MLE on Jason Terry); and Lee allowed the Rockets to get back a high second rounder plus take a flyer on a potential guy like Johnson. Don't underestimate the value of that Charlotte second rounder. It's going to be a good pick.
no way we cut forbes. versatile wing who can play 1-3. he plays so much like a young Aaron Afflalo its scary. His offense will probably not reach that level, but I believe the rest of his game will match Afflalo's. Delfino was signed and will be involved in a trade being shipped out of Houston this year. Forbes is a great safety net in case either martin or Lamb go down he will instantly take their spot in rotation. same with Lin/douglas for an in game fix, and with Parsons/delfino injury. He is too good of a basketball player to not make the 15 man roster on this team
I'm sorry, you are right. Lee was then unrestricted free agent. Good memory but I still believe, a early second is still a cheap price for lee. the camby trade was much better then the lee trade with similar positions.
Now the cuts begin to get painful... Let's see how tonight's game goes, I guess. I would like to see JJJ stay, but I can't see how that would happen...
although i like the great story of a good training camp which lead to a contract ala Mike Harris, But there is just no spot for Forbes unless rox cut either livingston or machado.
i liked jajuan johnson in his limited minutes last nite......have also liked what i've seen from greg smith so far. i wonder if brockman being injured means he will be difficult for the team to cut. i remember some seasons back we had a player pete mickeal who got sick/injured and we had to keep him on the roster a few weeks into the regular season just to continue his medical coverage
Should we bring Fogg to camp with Bobby Brown so that opponents can face the fearsome Brown-Fogg backcourt?
I'm so glad that other randomly bumped threads inspired you to be so amazingly original. You're so different than the other people that bumped for no valuable reason.
Wow, the internet is serious business for you isn't it? Not sure what I did to you to get you so upset (because these rage responses clearly aren't about this thread), but more importantly, I don't care. It's the offseason, and it's the weekend. Relax. Enjoy family and friends. Eat a steak. Take a lover. Make a baby. There's so much more to life than creating and holding grudges on the internet with people you don't even know. Back to the topic: I would rather have Kyle Fogg for minimum than Ricky Rubio.
