completely understandable. I was just as surprised with the MDA hiring when our #1 problem last year was the opposite end of the floor. But hey, now we have a new system that these guys will play for. Ill admit I'm looking forward to seeing guys like Ryno and EG get those same open looks other guys on this team get next to JH because the rockets haven't had shooters like them in a long time. But I guess we'll see how they approach the game defensively as a team soon enough.

Don't mean to rain on his parade, it's just not a very exciting team anymore.

If that's the case - don't tell Les... seems like an 'exciting team' is his ONLY goal... an exciting fast paced team to sell tickets... along with creating some interest from the asian market to pull some extra yen... because it sure doesn't look like we're trying to build a true contender... :(

Being injured is hilarious. No really, it's something to joke about.

I'm not gonna lie, I'm disappointed in this offseason on many levels, including the MDA hire. I like Gordon and Anderson as players, but wil probably never get past the $20 mil price tag for Anderson. I expected some trades that never happened. I think we're about 6 seed at best in the West. While I'm happy to get the extra year Harden extension, I still think we're on the mediocrity treadmill. I at least hoped Morey would make a move to bet on a young player on the rise (like a Lowery or Dragic before they blew up). To me it's been a disappointing offseason.

I think Harden will go down this year before any of these guys because he's been playing way too many minutes since he got to Houston.

These are the same people who will yell "luck" instead of "preparation" when Morey snaps someone good up in a trade before the deadline.

How people can be so bitter towards their own team is beyond me, and MDA wasn't even in my top 5 preferences for coach, and I never wanted Anderson or Gordon especially at these prices. But this is the coach that was picked and these are the players the market dictated we could get. Now I'm looking for things to be excited about, and there are several things.

For someone to sit here today and act like it's doomsday is ridiculous. I'd like to see them put their money where their mouth is.

Sadly I think a big injury to Harden is inevitable. I hope to god it won't happen, but the way he plays...I'm amazed he hasn't had a significant ankle injury the past two years.

    Please stay healthy, James.

My thoughts too. I think that must have been a big part of the thinking when they signed Gordon. Hopefully at least one of them will be healthy at any given time.

Some people just like to be miserable.
