Wonder what would be the trade value for the rights to Gentile and Llull, more valuable or less valuable than future 1st? future 2nd?

A Harden/Millsap pick and roll in MDA's system with shooters on the perimeter. Would be gold in the half court.

    Less than a good 1st, more than a good 2nd is my guess. I'd say a mid/late 1st probably...

Why would Atlanta trade for Howard in the first place if it rubbed both Al & Millsap the wrong way? A S&T would've made more sense then no?

Yes when you are comparing a dream teamer to Trevor Ariza. Look he may not be a the greatest fit for this team as is, but in terms of overall talent, every GM would do this trade in a NY minute for Ariza. His career points per is 18 and Trevors is 10. Trevor is a slightly better 3 point shoot, but for their careers not by ever 1 percent. Overall Rudy is a better shooter mainly because he finishes better around the rim and in traffic. I like Trevor like everyone else does but if a trade presents itself that's involves either of Brewer with a P. Beverley for example for Gay, you have to take the talent upgrade.

This is the worst time in the basketball calendar. Just dead.

Very thankful to have CODMAN's ears to the ground to make things interesting.

Yeah, ppl said the same (and even WORSE) about Josh Smith until he literally saved our season vs the Clippers game 6. Remember all those posts here "Josh Smith sucks" or "He is the worst 3pt shooter ever". He ended up being our savior that year and might've saved Morey his job another year. Cool story bro:rolleyes:

This is exactly what I was going to type up, too.

I might use a DMo SnT too, if I'm convinced DMo won't sign here for shortterm years. But, he'd have to OK the trade, and ironically, Sac has two PFs from University of Kentucky competing with him...haha,,,he might be sick of recruits from UK.

This is like highlight cherry-picking at its best.

Josh Smith was HORRIBLE the first 4 games of that series. Well, maybe horrible is too generous.

He had one AMAZING quarter. The quarter of his life.

Absolutely Rudy Gay can pull out amazing quarters. Even great games, and stretches.

Will we get that consistently, over 82 games + playoffs, with better than average efficiency from him, and defensive effort?? Who knows. History would say no.

But as I mentioned... I'd be ok with the move!

How can anybody speak one way or another about this without knowing who the Rockets have potentially offered?

I doubt Gay will opt out after it cost Ty Lawson $12 million.

Let's say Millsap is obtained. Does he start with Anderson in the front court? The 3 (yikes)?

Smart thing to do would be to bring Anderson off the bench but I doubt that would happen. I also doubt we get Millsap.

Having Milsap and Ryno together would give us an amazing small ball lineup.
