I'm in favor of nationalist leaders and Trump is the closest thing we've had since Alexander Hamilton. If Trump doesn't win I hope we can get a more polish nationalist politician to run in 2020. If read what the nationalist party represents I think many of you would agree with it.
Trump looked dead into the camera (not the people in the room), and without smiling, invited Russia to commit espionage. If you really, truly, and sincerely believe he was just joking then there is no hope for you.
He is joking about running for President. The campaign is a joke to troll you stupids. He cares nothing for you.
Let's be honest here. Saying "hit them hard" has been a saying in politics for a long time. He didn't say punch and it would be different if he did. His last line made it more apparent what he was doing. It's obvious he is held to a higher/different standard because how many times have we heard people say "gotta hit Trump (or whatever politician) hard on this or that"? There are things to criticize him for. That wasn't one of them.
It's like they're freaking bots at this point. Basically, Trump says something completely unacceptable that no real politician would even dream of uttering, and immediately the apologists show up with, "what he MEANT was [something more acceptable]." He's no longer a sideshow. He's no longer a dumb jackass on a stupid reality show. He's the Republican Party's nominee for President. Hold him to the same standards you would anybody else, and start looking at his words at face value.
I'm not saying what he "meant" to say. People say "hit them hard" all the time in politics. They aren't talking physically. Did he physically hit any of the people he was referring to in his last line? Next time Hillary says she is gonna hit Trump hard on something, be sure to post it. I'd be with you if he was talking about actually hitting someone.
I could see Trump challenging someone to a duel. Then losing because he has no idea what he's doing, even though he told everyone he was a great dueler... The best dueler!
You see, at this level, everything you say has the force of official declaration. National and world politics have no place for flippancy or sarcasm. Ms. Clinton gets called 'calculated' because she has 25 years experience at it, you have to calculate every word you say... and now I guess email or tweet. seriousness and gravitas matter Imagine what Trump would have to say in the response to Sandy Hook; Ms. Clinton can't approach the empathy of Mr. Obama but she is not likely to say anything off the cuff or callous.
he wasn't joking, he was being sarcastic to highlight and bring more attention to one of mrs. bill clinton's major flaws. he's still in campaign mode and you can't blame him since it's general election campaigning is about to start full on. anyone making any more or less of it is an idiot.
