    yeah, i see your reasoning. the way i saw it was giles was either going to be used in the 7th or 8th for sure because he hasn't pitched in a while and we have a day off tomorrow. that's why i mentioned hinch maybe wanting him to take care of the bottom order since it would be relatively easier than him going in the 8th and facing the top of the order. or maybe he saw what happened with keuchel and went into robotic mode with the 7-8-9 guys. either way, it worked out!

    Awesome game by McCullers! and the Astros Bullpen was sick. Like it should be: Giles, Gregerson, and Harris 1-2-3 innings each. Nice.

    I was thinking during that at-bat that I hope he doesn't hit into a DP so Bregman gets another at-bat. I agree that he likely was.
