When wing-nuts are complaining about walls and flags then you know the Dems are winning on the issues
I saw Walter White in the crowd during Bill's speech. I expect a investigation for cartel connections by the end of the week.
I actually thought it was pretty good too. The man has a talent for folksy conversation which appeals to just about everybody. Interesting though....one person who thought the first part of the speech was "not very feminist" and "weird" was....Rachel Maddow of MSNBC. Knock me over with a feather.....
And Maddow still would give the speech high marks overall. Been hearing/reading quite a bit of analysis of the speech from pundits-- how certain parts could be better, or even how certain parts are a somewhat offensive and all that. But again, lets keep in mind the target audience here-- he's not talking to political pundits on cable TV or in print/web media. The only relevant way that this speech is judged is whether it turns out more people to vote for Hillary-- and those potential gains are folks who would consider voting for Hillary but are not certain about voting for her (or voting at all). These are Democrats who are not super excited about Hillary (compared to say, Obama), independents or even Republicans who don't much like Hillary but are also worried about Trump, etc. It really is a bottom-line business. My guess is that the speech works pretty well to these voters.
The only things the Dems are winning at is the level of corruption and the ignorance of the "useful idiots" that swallow their lies.
What are you talking about the GOP has the STAR of a reality TV show as its candidate.... top that crap. I can tell you who is losing and it is the American people if we vote for either one of these candidates. There are other options.

Difference between Reagan and Trump is that Reagan served and was a Governor. Trump has 0 experience. I guess all one has to do to win the GOP candidacy is yell "Kick out all the brown people!" as many times as you can. These options are not realistic. It is Clinton or Trump.
Feels funny that a life-long Democrat would have to do this, but Reagan was the President of the actor's union (as a Democrat) twice. He was also elected as the Governor of California twice. Paraphrasing a great Texan and senator, "...I knew Ronald Reagan... and Donald Trump is no Ronald Reagan". Odd, he is the GOP nominee for President of the United States. I am pretty sure I saw him on the Republican Convention all last week. And November 8, I fear a number of republicans will be voting for him. Including you.
How was Bill's speech? I couldn't pay attention to it because I was too distracted by the invisible fence and counting the number of visible flags in the room.
Most seemed to think it was OK, but the main criticisms were (1) he didn't talk about himself as expected, (2) he didn't hit on enough women's topics? and (3)that he missed an opportunity to mention his own dalliances to diffuse them from Trump attacks.
I was looking forward to it, because he is (was?) a master speaker. But it was not as good as I had hoped. A bit rambling. But it was good in that it was soft and homey and supplied a lot of stories about Hillary's background that wouldn't have got out otherwise. He really worked on the women-and-children side of things. Built the theme of "change maker." I don't think it would have been a good idea to mention Lewinsky. That was hashed out long ago on the highest possible stage.
[Premium Post] Bill Clinton should have avoided talking about anything romantic in nature, given his history of cheating on Hillary hundreds of times, and also given the risk off Jeffrey Epstein's name reemerging on the scene. Bill saved Obama's bacon at the 2012 DNC with his speech on the economy. That was a significant political boost at the time. No such boost came from last night's rather mediocre and strange speech. Creepy was a good way to describe parts of that speech. You've got a ~70 year old man who is starting to look a little rough and has the shakes...discussing how he was leering at a young Hillary when they were in law school... kinda gross actually.
