This is all clear. Of course I have been harder on him than you have because he is not my beloved poster child.

I like the team to plan long term, and his back and inconsistent play is not something the team needs now.

When did the discussion about what DMO would sign for turn into a D*ck measuring contest over who donates more money or has been a fan for longer. Grown ass men all acting like children. Grow up and stop hiding behind your computers and attacking each other. It's sad that people can't have different opinions.

Think he bets on himself, takes a 1 year deal, and hope the absurd offers come next offseason

When have the Rockets ever agree with. Seriously you just said they don't keep talent around. Talk about a double standard platform here.

And again Dmo hasn't shown enough to warrant another contract here. Thus the reason why they tried to trade him to Detroit. Another example that they don't agree with you. Now you're so convinced that we will give him the QO. We're already deep at that position. If anything we need what I call an off the ball point guard to play next to Harden. Someone that can create shots for himself and teammates when Harden sits. We don't need another broken down big men. The Rockets just signed two more bigs who tend to spend a lot of time in their suits. If anything go grab a pf that hasn't dealt with any long time injuries.

Disagree. It's not like we traded him for peanuts. We were trading him for a lottery pick. Do you remember when we traded Lowry? Do you remember what we received?

Folks can have different opinions but if you are going to be an ass expect others to point it out.

he wasn't traded for much. a protected pick in an extremely weak draft is nothing to be praising about

$1 for every box-out seems fair.

Extremely weak draft class? That draft class had Oladipo, Alex Len, Nerlens Noel, Kentavious Caldwell-Pope, CJ McCollum, Steven Adams, Giannis Antetokounmpo, Dennis Schroder, Rudy Gobert, Michael Carter-Williams, and Allen Crabbe.

That draft pick was also the main trade chip in acquiring James Harden. You don't think that's worthy of praise?

Wasn't even referring to the Lowry pick so not sure why you're even mentioning that draft

You disagreed with Htownballer38 saying Dmo wasn't traded for peanuts when in reality it basically was for a protected 2016 pick in yes an extremely weak draft class

It was a weak draft class and honestly we prob won't ever see a trade like the Harden one ever again, We absolutely fleeced the Thunder. All the advance metrics were basically pointing to Harden becoming at the very least a 23/5/4 guy.

Even if he just becomes that and not the mvp caliber player he turned into that is still so far superior to basically Steven Adams which is the main piece that OKC got and the only player in there rotation from that deal.

No team is ever going to give up a player putting up 17/4/3 on 49/39/88 shooting at age 21 ending his rookie deal. That was an absolute idiotic move by Presti and prob one of the main reason OKC lost KD.

Does KD leave if harden and Westbrook are both on the team? I doubt it. In fact that team prob already has at least one championship.

His max that year was 4/60 that's chump change for a young all star level talent who had just one 6th man of the year and the team was coming of a finals appearance.

Sam Presti might go down as one of the worst GMs ever it's very likely he will have drafted and lost 3 top 7 MVP caliber players in a 5 year span. That's absolutely awful. Guys on nba radio are even starting to come around the this idea so I'm not alone in this thinking.

I see. I assumed you were talking about the 2013 draft b/c we have the benefit of hindsight.

Since the 2016 draft class has yet to play a single minute in the NBA, for you to claim that it's already an extremely weak draft class can mean only one of two things. You're either an idiot or you're from the future. Which is it?

or its called following NCAA basketball throughout the year and many of these players involved. that could be quite a possibility right

Just smh at your response. So because someone disagrees with you because obviously you don't follow this years draft class or aren't familiar with them, you resort to a no basketball content reply. If you're gonna try an portray yourself as some high guru please stop. I could do the exact same thing you just did and resort to name calling but there's no need here. You probably shouldn't be so quick to assume things and that there are people out there that follow guys throughout their careers and that doesn't mean waiting till they play a "minute in the NBA"

Shake your head all you want. If you're being stupid, I'm going to call you out on it. How else will you learn? And for you to claim that the 2016 draft class is already an "extremely weak draft class".....that's being stupid.

Remember when everyone thought the 2013 draft class was terrible? It's been a few years, and a bunch of those players have come into their own.

care to put your money where your loud mouth is. Ive been meaning to do this for a long time for as much trash as you spew out all the time but you continue portray yourself as some high armchair that's always correct. I would love to do this so you can give yourself a real reality check. After all "How else will you learn" Name a player that will be a star in this year 2016 draft after the Detroit protected pick and I'll give you even the opportunity to choose more than 1.
