This has been Keuchel's problem all year: Getting comfortable and then hanging a breaking ball over the plate.

Just stop with the Keuchel talk. He should not pitch in the 8th. I don't know what it is.

Classic Commodore complaining after the event when nobody mentioned taking him out before that inning

Keuchel hasn't even hit 100 pitches yet.

i don't blame Hinch at all. Keuchel was dealing and hasn't thrown too many pitches.

man for some reason i knew we were going to jinx it seeing how everyone commented on Keuchel dealing through 7 :(

Ugh smh frustrating since Dallas is pitching so well tonight

That was an awful route by Gomez jeez or he was playing way too shallow.

ALl you BBS managers! Didn't see a single post after the 7th to take Keuchel out.

with our bullpen, I'm against keeping any starter in past 7 innings if it's less than a 3 run game

you wanted to pull him? 7 innings 1 ER on a blooper, and 90 pitches?

Because that's where they positioned him.

Good question. That is the only thibg that scores a run is something over his head. Positioning has been poor twice for Gomez.

He was under 90 pitches. Who the hell pulls a good pitcher there?

If he pulled him there and Gregerson gave up a run, everybody would be up in arms as to why Keuchel was pulled so early during his best start of the season

Guys, it has nothing to do with pitch count.

Keuchel has been getting burned all season the 3rd time through the order. And we have a fresh bullpen.

Fair question. But the route/jump seemed fine. No one was getting to that from where he was positioned.
