    only positives i see so far is he seems to make the right passes, keeps the ball moving. didn't shy away from contact down low when boxing out.

    usa is just too good. china just can't get their offense going at all

    You could make the argument that him coming over sooner would be better for his development, as he'd be working with the Rockets (RGV) strength and conditioning staff which I'm confident is way better than any CBA teams. Of course theres no roster space for him, and there are contract issues I believe. Just sayin.

    But yeah he's a least a year away from getting on the floor in a Rockets uni.

    Also I read that Chinese coaches and training staffs basically run their players into the ground, a la Yao. Hopefully, if Qi is any good, Rockets get him sooner than later.

    Not a big fan of Zhou's interest in swiping for balls below the waist. He'll just get into foul trouble. Dude, use your 35' wing span and wait for them to bring the ball up and shoot.
