For an independent to have a snow ball's chance in hell of being elected, both parties have to put up a candidate that is so vile and disgusting that even the most loyal supporters would turn away from their straight ticket voting practice. Can it get worse than Trump and Clinton? This leaves you two candidates to vote for. Now I understand why the RNC would not want Trump to run as a Republican ... aside from his antics, he's simply does not fit the GOP status quo. Liberals are all about fairness and peace and love and blah blah blah hypocritical BS. While the RNC is no better, at least they give their candidates a chance to sink or swim. Why does the DNC not do the same? If both parties have an equally qualified candidates, America will vote in the Democrat candidate....the candidate the DNC picked and shunned any other Democratic candidate who would attempt to run against their pick. Watching the Clinton campaign slowly crumble and in the process make her supporters look like (and essentially be called that by the DNC) fools is ****ing beautiful. The layers of corruption are so thick that even if she were to get elected, there wouldn't be an end in sight to scandals and it would haunt her Presidency.

Agree. In any normal election, Hillary wouldn't have a chance. She doesn't get enough support amongst Dems, and she brings out lots of Republicans to vote against her. Except the Republicans found a candidate who does the very same thing. That said, I think opinions of Trump changed in the minds of many independents during the convention. Polls show this. What probably should have been a Republican landslide is at least currently a toss up. Will have to see how things go during the debates.
