    Mayfield is hurt and Moon hasn't made it to Fresno yet so with Bregman in LF they don't have a shortstop, Moran was there last night.

    Not wanting to read too much into this, but it does seem odd to play a player at SS who has never/rarely played there, when you have a natural one elsewhere in the lineup.

    Probably not but you still don't want your in-state, in-division rival to claim him. Hurts that much more if he plays well.

    The entire reason Bregman is still in AAA is to get reps in LF. Plus, wins and losses don't matter in AAA.

    The Astros really need a catcher in the system that can at least have an average bat in the majors.

    It sucks essentially helping out your instate rival who's owned your team in recent seasons. The got a boost with DeShields and now they take Duffy.

    but we as Astro fans need to get used to this, our development system is stacked with talent, might not be elite from top to bottom, but legitimate talent at least 40-50 deep.

    DeShields and Duffy are both minimal players at the big league level. I really am not upset about "losing" either of them to the Rangers.
