I would trade bergman for sale. Sale is a legit ace who has a good contract for 3 years. Even if Bergman is an all star you are getting an Ace.

Including Bregman and other prospects, even top ones, in a deal for Sale would be great. Add Sale to what we have controlled already for the next 5-7 years and we would be year in year out WS contenders McCullers is a no go for me though. Sale is great and all, but I'd rather just ride with what we have rather give up top talent. Luhnow's record in trades is not very good. Let's just develop our own talent. Florida won 2 world series doing that.
the way I look at it is that even if they get Sales, it's not like they can beat us anymore than they already have. But we should go get him. It's obvious we are missing two things. An ace. And a number 2. AJ Reed looks expendable. I would not trade any starters unless it's Rasmus or Gomez. But Sale is worth a prospect. I mean what prospect can outdo Sale. All they could do is live up to him. So it's an easy sell to me.
