I remember reading something about Isiah wanting Terry to join the Celtics. I wonder if that will happen. They will need some more veteran presence in the locker room. I'd also be happy with him going to Dallas so I can also go back to hating him.

I'll miss this guy. Not for the old-man "defense," but for the leadership. Given the crew we have, that's gonna hurt.

Are you saying, "not the same team" without him.

When you are supposed to be a 3 point specialist and you only shoot 35%, and can't defend anymore than its time to go.

I just hope the Rockets offered him some sort of assistant type of role. He's good to be around the team, and super well respected. But let's be honest.... the guy can't play anymore.

I respect JT. Even though I'm not a supporter, I respect Morey for even bringing him in. Remember Parson had just signed to Dallas and we were getting killed in the press. All of sudden I see Morey signed Terry I was like, "awww, good chess move there". I think Terry's tenure here was more significant than Parson's in Dallas lol

You could see this coming once Pablo was signed. And right now for this team Pablo is the right fit. JET was solid while he was here. The Rockets go way more out of him than we thought when we traded for him.

I just tell the truth - some folks don't like that - I would have never signed him in the first place.

I still would have signed him, if only to keep him off the Mavs, but seriously he was productive during the first season he was with us and fell into the same miasma that was last season.

I didn't want to say it but I always thought having him on the squad was bad juju. I can respect champions, even from Dallas. I can respect NBA greatness, even from Dallas....but he was a Rocket killer....from start to finish.

10% of the time you tell the truth and 90% of the time you state your opinion when you post. And there is nothing wrong with that. Just sayin.

Well that is a given, most of the truth I am speaking of is just my own truth, or opinion, that is what a BBS is for - people to post their opinions - and rarely are things black and white as someone is right and someone is wrong, when you are dealing with opinions there is tons of gray.

Personally, I never liked Jason Terry still do....so, yeah, never liked him never will.

Those 3s against the Mavs in the first round were just awesome. Poetic justice.

Hope he doesn't go back to Dallas unless it's to retire. If Prigs has gas in the tank, I think JET can still play.

Y'all throw the word "hate" around way too often. If you hate anybody in the NBA, you kind of have a problem. That being said, watching JET kill the Rockets was always disheartening but he deserves any sort of praise that comes his way. He was important for us in the run to WCF and he was a good veteran presence off the bench. Here's hoping he enjoys whatever the next chapter of his life will be.

I wish him well. If he decides to retire he'll almost certainly have a career either in coaching or broadcasting. Very smart, well-spoken and likable guy.

He deserved better. Was really hoping we could have given him another shot at a ring this past year.
