Don't think they had anyone up in the pen but I would pull him now, he's already at 99 pitches and facing 3 righties next time up. Semien and Smolinski have good #'s vs him too. If anything, 7 innings max or when he faces first sign of trouble. It's not like our 7-8-9 has gotten work in a while.
Does it make sense for Altuve to hit cleanup? Dude is a machine, and it would provide Correa with even more protection to flip them in the order. Imagine this lineup: Springer RF Bregman 3B Correa SS Altuve 2B Valbuena DH Margo 1B Rasmus LF Gomez CF Castro C
Altuve is already losing about 10 games worth of plate appearances throughout the year batting 3rd instead of 1st. He'd lose another 4 games worth or so hitting 4th.
Being jerked around in and out of the lineup doesn't help but Gomez isn't any better and you can't pry his ass out of the lineup, who's shaking their head over Gomer?
