I had sex with a woman on her period and I didn't freak out when she turned the lights back on in her bedroom. Another one of my many benevolent acts.

I am glad that you bumped this thread though, because I've got some things I would like to say about the communities within Houston. I've done a lot of work in several areas around town. Some people on here have asked why I've stop doing community service, well let me tell you.

The last event I organized was at a place called Catholic charities. Myself and about 10 other members joined in helping to feed families in need. That day we serve almost 2000 pounds worth of food, and guess what? Most of that food was handed out to African-Americans who drove Lexuses Mercedes, and Cadillacs.

I decided from that day forward I was never going to help anyone who would take advantage of the system. It left such a bad taste in my mouth that I've decided to help out certain individuals and not charity groups.

What have I done? I'll tell you what I haven't done. I haven't boasted about my benevolent community efforts on a basketball forum, implying that everyone else is lazy...while simultaneously stereotyping and belittling an entire race. That's what I HAVEN'T done.

    To say that

"Blacks would much rather take them give"

Is to say all blacks are moochers, which you say extends even to our president, Barrack Obama. Of course, this a incredibly racist, wrong and stupid comment to make.

I would like to remind you, that Barrack Obama, contributes more to communities, families and people in just a year, then you likely will ever do in your life. In fact, MANY black people do. This isn't a knock on your charity work what so ever, Obama and others are in extraordinary positions to do so, a hell of a lot more aren't in such positions but still contribute what they can/will. Good for Obama, you, all others that contribute, most importantly good for the people that are getting the help they need.

Although your charity is certainly admirable and appreciated, it doesn't excuse your racism.

Thought needless to be said, especially to someone who does charity like you, but apparently not, some PEOPLE are just moochers. EVERY ethnicity has moochers, including your very own, whatever that may be, and you know damn well that is true. If you think it's just one race, if you think there is an entire race of moochers then you are being incredibly naive.

On my weekend drives to Nevada, I sometimes pick up hitchhikers. I assume they're fomfotable because the thumping in the back seat stops mid-drive.

This is one of my many benevolent acts.

Sounds like an urban legend, but for the sake of argument, I'll accept you saw at least three groups who had luxury cars. If you served 2000 lbs worth of food, how many people did Catholic charities help that day, do you think? Approximately 1,500 or so? Would you say more than 1,000 of those people were African American? And would you say then that you saw more than 200 luxury vehicles?

Or, more likely, did you see not that many luxury cars but the ones you did see made a terrible impression on you.

The lesson was probably this: a lot of poor people have no ****ing clue how to handle money. They can have a cell phone and a fancy car but have no idea how to pay the monthly bills or keep decent food on the table. This is not a news flash in our country. Jethro also has a bass boat and HBO but is using foodstamps to feed his baby momma in east texas. I have seen that up close and personal. Want to know what race Jethro is?

    B-Bob,

East Texas folk are a different kind of folk. Source: I dated a girl from Silsbee for a year.

The 100% completely true tales I could tell you would drive you to alcoholism and an insane asylum, while calling the FBI and begging them to burn the city to the ground and to erase it from the history books.

That 12 month odyssey is a story best left untold. Sorry I can't provide more details here, but it's better that way. Trust me.

    I agree with this wholeheartedly.

That said, we as a people have a lot of work to do. We still have many issues in this country. People...love thy neighbor. Do not let this country divide us anymore than we already are. I have to believe that we can get through this and truly become equals in each other's eyes. No I'm not naïve, I just believe in the good of humankind.

What do I do? Try to treat all people equal always. I have not walked in other's footsteps, so I do not truly understand the trials of every individual. I continue to grow as a person, try to be the best me possible in order to be good to all. Is that enough? Probably not, but I will always try to do more.

Sounds like my first time. She also threw up on me and I didn't freak out until she tried to kiss me immediately afterwards. 0/10 would not recommend.
