Yeah....crazy people caring about something like Constitutional rights.

While we're talking about trampling civil rights for kicks, I think given that the voters have picked Hillary and Trump as the major party candidates it's clear that we can't trust the people and we need to suspend the right to vote until such time as people become more intelligent. I'm sure you'd be down for that.

Agreed, until that thin blue line starts calling out the troublemakers on their side, and does more than SLAP the wrists of problem officers, I suspect this stuff will get worse.

I am saddened by this, yet in no way surprised. Obama has cultivated an atmosphere where it is acceptable to rebuke the police and challenge their authority. This is unacceptable on every level, and a true leader would have known better.

Obama never could graduate beyond the politician mode, and as a result, we have a divided, almost chaotic nation that is far less safe than when he took office. Policemen fear for their lives and live with consistent disrespect coming from the lowest rungs of society. The military has been neutered and they live in fear of unwittingly violating international law. ISIS is proliferating and attacking a country every week. Our nation needs leadership.

When I see links form trash sites like that, I don't click them. Same goes for both sides.

Nope, I blame the NRA for being a w**** for gun manufacturers, and I blame their dues paying members and their voting block for being dupes and preventing any real discussion on guns and gun violence in America.

Nice that you think it's LOL laughable, though.

I own about 20 or so guns, btw, and I'd be happy to register them or whatever, because I'm not batsh!t crazy.

What a steaming pile, Trader_J. The total obstructionism of the Republican Congress prevented the President from doing damn near anything that required a vote in the House or the Senate. Blaming him for a terrible act like Baton Rouge shows just how low you will go. Pretty ****ing low. Trader_J, you should be ashamed of yourself.

Obama shares the blame of Dallas and Baton Rouge, and I'm sorry that that offends you. The President sets the tone for how policemen are treated. Obama, L Lynch, J Johnson all actively encouraged the racist, hate-mongering BLM movement to get out there and protest. And as we've seen for so long, when this group mobilizes, trouble happens. There is no question that Obama's encouragement fanned the flames of hatred towards the police. He legitimized it. I'm sorry that you don't like to hear that, but I know that you are upset because it's true. And it hurts.

The American people voted the Democrats out of Congress because they wanted to obstruct Obama's dangerous agenda. They saw Obamacare, the attempts at cap and trade, Dodd Frank, and attempts at gun control and they said ENOUGH. Republicans did the job America asked them to do -- stop Obama's disastrous agenda.

    GOOD DAY

I think the predictable attacks on gun rights and the NRA every time there is an incident is laughable. A LOT more people were hurt in France by a lorry and oddly enough we didn't hear cries for restricting driving privileges....something that could actually be done without trampling on civil rights. i mean, it would be every bit as ineffective as an "assault rifle" ban and you could get the same false feeling that you did something productive.
