At least the Rangers lost today, so we didn't lose any ground. Lots of basic mistakes today though, should be up 2-1 in this game.

Man could've gone to 3.5 back. Can't win em all.

All kinds of fail in that inning. Loses like this tend to hurt worse than most. They beat themselves today.

Tough loss. That ump was consistently wrong in calling strikes that were well outside.

That was a ********ing call. Strike 3 was defensible.

well, some can make educated guesses.

i guess you're close enough to the players to know that it's on them.

win tomorrow. A bunch of balls that were called strikes in critical situations.

Loss goes to the manager why did they let the best hitter on the team bunt a long signal would have scored the tying run

Your best hitter choosing to bunt is always a bad proposition. Hinch needs to set him straight with that BS.

This team needs a Beltre type that will call out players for watching a fly ball, bunting with a man on 2nd and no outs, etc. No alpha dog to call out someone playing stupid baseball. Altuve is a great player but we need him to be the most baseball savvy player on the team given his years of success. Hopefully he pearns from it and quits trying to bunt in any situation once and for all. Get em tomorrow Stros!

Hated the bunt move by Altuve, and the first strike on Valbuena was BS...

We may never know if that came from the dugout or was Altuve's idea. If asked, I kind of hope both of them say "my idea".

That did not come from the dugout. Hinch has said in the past he wants his best hitters to swing the bat.

Even though Altuves steal essentially made up for the bad sacrifice, the fact he took away the chance to drive in the run by sacrificing started the spiral down in the 9th. They will win tomorrow.

You could see it on Hinch's face, that wasn't his call...
