If DMo gets like 10-15+ per... I dunno, I mean he hasn't exactly set the world on fire. But whatever, I'm hoping less than 10 just because of the stupid deals we've seen elsewhere. If you're going to get DMo on some silly contract, might as well have signed Parsons too, even with his 2 broken seasons it's been more than the small stretches from DMo.

DMo is 25 right now, turning 26 in a few months just for accuracy.

I think TJones' future is overseas, but he's got his one last chance with the Pels to prove that he belongs in the NBA, we'll see what he does with it.

As to DMo, I expect him to get a 3 year deal with decent money. Nothing like he'd have gotten if he didn't have that back injury but he's got enough skill to age fairly gracefully to where I think he's able to provide something to an NBA team for many years to come. We'll see how it goes.

Just throwing this out there but don't flame me for it... I DON'T KNOW all the cap implications and rules... Is it possible for a a sign and trade involving D-Mo going to LA, Blake Griffin to OKC and Westbrook to HOU?

Not that I am advocating this but basketballholic's comments got me thinking down that road.

Even if it was possible, why would those teams do that deal? I'm about as high on DMo as anyone and I say hell no to that.

I figure the Clippers would want something for Griffin since it looks like they are trading him off... And no I don't think DMo covers all their wants. The assumption is that there are other assets involved in the trade.

I figure OKC would gladly take Griffin over the uncertainty of Westbrook staying or leaving.

Just a thought...Not saying it is likely or even possible to happen.

Fair enough, I imagine if there were enough assets headed to the Clippers, you MIGHT be able to get them on board, but for OKC they'd be trading Westbrook who is definitely walking after this year for Griffin who would be definitely walking after this year. He's got an ETO after this season and there's no chance in hell he'd stay in OKC.

I thought he liked his time in OK. Of course he wants to chase the fame as well so I get it.

    Sigh...

Last summer you showed progress by going from here

    to here

but today you're right back to being your old self. What gives? You wanna do this all over again?

I didn't call anybody out. I don't say how stupid posters are for their irrational opines like DMO gonna take the qualifying offer. I simply give facts AND then my own views based on the facts I know. I don't know what your problem is. You read arrogance because that's what you want to read. You're the one with the emotionally charged responses. I am writng flat without emotional affect. I'm not going to preface facts with "I think. ........" just because it somehow makes those facts easier for you or somebody else to swallow.

Get over it already. If you don't think DMO is going to sign a huge long-term contract like I do then state your case and move on. That way you don't feel bad and feel like you have to apologize again because you joined with the mob. Posters that go to calling names and deflecting on other posters they disagree with are just exhibiting and exaggerating the holes in their own arguments because their arguments are just a collection of uneducated guesses. They're like the kid we used to play on the playground that we could beat to the rim every time without even using a head fake, that start falling down and hollering for an offensive foul after we beat them to the rim for the 8th time. Don't be that kid. ΔΆ?

    Interesting timing.

Maybe the delay is related to Summer League schedule (our last game is 4:30 tonight) being a domino that had to fall before they start finalizing Onuaku's contract, which is the domino that must fall before signing a contract with DMo.

So Morey just called DMo's agent to say he'll be back tonight, let's sit down Saturday.

Today they made it official that DMo wouldn't be in the Olympics due to not having a contract, so it kind of makes sense that someone would mention it again but it's not news.

I read this tweet as there was a delay, but now they have resumed talks.

But I can see it being a nothing tweet like "Hey guys, they continue to talk."

I see one of the following happening
1.) We sign him to a below market long term deal which doesn't mess up our cap. 4-5 per year.
2.) We offer him a one year, high dollar amount.
3.) We SnT him for a major piece or an expiring contract stop gap.
4.) We do not match a legit offer from someone else.
