    DMo WAS a star. he could be still but I doubt it now.
    Capela is as good as Dwight
    Harrell will probably never shoot 3's above 30%

    Sorry to bump an old thread. Not something I typically do, but it's a topic I wanted to see discussed as the annual release date for the updated rankings nears.

    It feels as if the foundation of the Morey philosophy has disappeared in just a few months. This team certainly doesn't feel flexible anymore. It's anchored by long-term contracts attached to players that aren't very exciting. We don't have easy access to draft picks like we used to. Our emerging players' ceilings seem to have lowered. We have no 2nd star, much less potential 3rd.

    I feel like our future rankings will take a big hit, yet the record on the court, assuming relative health will remain similar.
