You also have to keep in mind that the regions controlled by ISIS were you wish to drop this propaganda would hardly ever be seen by the people you want to see it because they will be too afraid to have that stuff in possession when an ISIS clown is breathing down their necks. I like the premise, but the execution might be a bit too complicated.
it also may get Trump elected because he's going to take care of it without any specific plan but just because he is and what he has in store for them "is HUGE". I dunno...listening to Hillary's live response on CNN made me feel like I was listening to a blogger or something comical. At first, I turned it on and heard her talking...I didn't know who the hell was talking? It took about a minute to go...Mom? I mean...Hillary? One thing is clear...Hillary won't be launching a ground war in Syria. Not so sure about Trump on that one?
i'm not outraged. just irritated by dumb people such as yourself. your lack of ability to formulate a logical discussion and instead use cartoons for comedic effect is telling. why i even bothered responding to your post, which others intelligently ignored, wasn't smart on my part. but nevermind. keep posting, comedian.
I'll agree that Hillary's response on CNN wit Anderson Cooper was silly and pointless. It sounded like a giant political ad campaign. She should have just had a sobering tone and expressed her sympathies.
All these people have access to p*rn and the American way of life via media etc.. It's just that the radical proposition gives them a split personality. Literally. Think of a Charlie and Hank scenario.
I, too, am at a loss about what to do. ISIS uses Muslim civilians ad human shields. They crucify people in Raqqa. They kill fellow Muslims for not being their right kind of Muslim. I recommend that everybody read the excellent"What ISIS Really Wants" piece in the Atlantic. http://www.theatlantic.com/magazine/archive/2015/03/what-isis-really-wants/384980/ The hardcore believers WANT a ground invasion. They view it as a harbinger of the apocalypse. I've wondered before if the true zealots could be lured to the battlefield where they believe the "army of Rome" will attack and Trojan Horse them into annihilation. I just don't know. "Carpet bombing" makes for a good sound bite, but it invariably kills innocents and turns people who have a stone age level of education into terrorists. "Do you know who killed your father?" the terrorist will ask the angry teenage boy. "It was the godless French. Your duty is to avenge them and it's all written in this holy book you don't know how to read." Again, I just don't know. There is something fundamentally flawed in literal interpretation of Island that, when combined with parts of the world that lack modern education and access to free thought, creates a toxic brew for the rest of the world.
What could be done about this? Not much unless you go beyond Trump and deport all Muslims, but even then there might still be unidentified home made terrorists. I guess that's how Israeli feel all the time. What a messed up world.
Apparently many of the victims were Muslims ... this women screaming in Arabic" where is my daughter ..."
It is only a small percentage of the Muslim population of course, but how does this issue get resolved if it could even be resolved.
ISIS is JV team on the battle field, but apparently plenty young people that grew up in the west buy into their delusional fantasies, that is so amazing.
Nice soundbite, but I won't get into a partisan pissing match about this. Syria on the whole is much more of a cluster**** than ISIS alone and the American public doesn't have the stomach for the full scale invasion that Trump just called for. Hell, to "declare war" on ISIS legitimizes them as a state, which is the opposite of what we want. To legitimize the caliphate gives them the gravitas they crave. You may as well replace the name "Obama" with "Hollande" or "Every Western Leader" in your snipping. "Eliminating Islam," as others have posted in this thread is also impossible. You cannot "eliminate" the beliefs of billions of people all over the world.
