I'm curious to see if at this point (assuming no one will offer him a double digit contract) D.Mo is going to bet on his back and sign the qo with the risk of losing a lot of money if he goes down again, or if he'll be more ok in signing a decent but longer deal like a 8x3...

Hahah, we're not speculating at all.

Speculating is pretending like there's secret offer sheets that are being turned down, or the idiot who boldly predicted that somebody who was exposed to the entire league as damaged goods would be taking home an eight figure annual payday.

    Guess who that person is.

if he ends up taking the QO aren't there some sort of restrictions on trading him, including he has to approve any trade?

    No, you are speculating.

There are no known offers for Motiejunas. Fact.

There are no known offers for the Warriors to trade Kevin Durant and Steph Curry to the Rockets for Corey Brewer and Patrick Beverly. Fact.

These two things have something in common, I can't DEFINITIVELY disprove them, just like the existence of the Loch Ness monster.

This is a common feature of things that don't exist.

it looks like Dmo will either sign his offer sheet, or we will work out a sign and trade.

You don't know this, there could have been offers he refused, there are no SIGNED offers - again speculation.

All the rest of your crap is as usual crap.

I hope to meet you face to face some day Sam - that will be a fun day.

Man I blame Detroit for this bullcrap. They should've taken this dude off of our hands so we could move on already.

I can't believe a below average role player gets this much attention around here.

I just find people are more likely to be cordial when met in person. I will let him know when I am next in NY and see if he is willing to meet in person - should be this fall.

Look how much attention a complete scrub like Terrence Jones got all those years. At least with DMo it's a role player.

According to Zach Lowe DMOs and Plumlees free agency could last till August.

I hope people realize that the longer D-Mo's free agency drags on, the BETTER it is for the Rockets.

With all the good free agents off the board by now, it's not like the Rockets are missing out on any tremendous free agent acquisitions between now and whenever D-Mo signs (whether via offer sheet or new contract with the Rockets).

The most likely path towards improving the roster at this point is via TRADES. At this point in the summer, those types of transactions are not heavily time-sensitive. What may be perceived as a "delay" with D-Mo's free agency being worked out only gives the Rockets more time to formulate trade scenarios to potentially improve the team.

Folks, just sit back and stop fretting the fact that D-Mo has not signed yet.

Agree with Bima that the longer this plays out, the better for the Rockets.

The ability for the Rockets to be able to S&T DMo to pretty much any salary range opens up a lot of options for trades. I am pretty sure DMo would be up for a S&T if he is getting a good salary.

So, either the Rockets can get DMo at a good price OR S&T him at a larger salary to use to "salary match" another quality player.

If its s+T from looking at the teams depth charts the obvious targets are Toronto and Boston.
However expecting a trade between those gms is futile imo.

Yeah that's a good way to describe it. Only reason why we'd have had to hear so much the past few years about a total scrub like Jones who shouldn't even be in the league.
