I vote Brent Price, or Brent Price II aka Bryce Drew. Thanks, Carroll Dawson, for drafting Bryce Drew at #16 (along with Michael Dickerson and Mirsad Turkcan) while Elsik's Rashard Lewis slipped to the second round. Never forget.
well he is 180lbs, thats pg weight. technically, he can be the backup pg. if jb likes him so much maybe we should go with brewer. there's gotta be something there
Corey Brewer: Closes eyes, runs at basket with 5 defenders, sends out a prayer, does a combination of euro step james harden throwing up hands and running man. Misses hore idly then does a quick shower dissapointmenting smirk gesture.
ok, well let's just say we need a better player than Bev to come in and play his position, whether he's 1 or 2 guard.
Brought this up in the free agent thread. Why not Marshon Brooks? I mean he would be cheap like Beasley and if he doesn't work then oh well. But he was playing well in the CBA. I'm all for this guy. http://hardwoodparoxysm.com/2016/06...lyn-nets-euroleague-cba-return-summer-league/
I don't know that a PG is specifically what the team needs. Harden is gonna be the catalyst on offense and the team has enough secondary pieces who can generate offense in Gordon and Anderson to improve on last seasons's 8th place finish on offense. Will the offense fall apart when Harden sits?
Would be an ok get for 1+1 deal. He really fell off which is why he ended up in the CBA, but hey it helped Beasley get back on track, so why not? <iframe width="560" height="315" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/UtngadVAPUs" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>
Doc affirmed that I'd deciphered part of his riddle right, but if we were indeed after Bledsoe several weeks ago when that happened it doesn't mean anything as to whom we're after now. I love Doc's riddles and I was gratified I actually solved one for once but I don't think there's anything more to it than that.
No need to joke? There's never a need to joke but that doesn't mean it's rude to make one. "Why so serious?"
I don't have any memory function left anymore from this dang late-stage, chronic Lyme disease that has come to define my life. I'm sure you could figure it out by going to Doc Rocket's twitter. He tweeted the riddle then tweeted something suggesting I'd guessed right here. Those riddles are only fun games for me. Not trying to prove anything.
Told you so. I was hoping for a better back up. I don't mind Pablo as a third string but would have preferred Hinrich as the back up. I am sure Gordon will get some minutes handling the ball but I just wanted better insurance given his injury history. Maybe a trade is coming soon too.
Still praying for you brother! Hoping this Rockets season can surprise some folks and bring some joy to you. Always appreciate the insight you share.
It appears Morey looked at backup PG but only gave it a cursory glance. Because even if he views Prigs as only a third-string, in case backup, with an injury prone starter (Pat) and even more injury prone "second string" (Gordon) the chances of "next man up" is pretty high. At which time: Prigs Harden Ariza Anderson (assuming he stays healthy, otherwise Beasley) Nene Even sniffing playoffs would be a miracle...
Exactly. Maybe he secretly hopes for injury, because it would be the 4th year in a row with no actual back up plan in case of emergency!
You forgot: gets fouled, goes to line, misses 1 of 2, misses 2 of 2 but there's a lane violation, misses 3rd attempt as well, gambles on defense, gets burned, repeat.
