Yes he probably is still not well even now for no team to show any interest at all.

Same. I honestly thought if any team was going to throw crazy money at D-Mo, it would have been the Nets, since they are well... the Nets. To put it simply, when everyone comparable to D-Mo (back injury excluded) are getting crazy contracts and D-Mo has not received a single offer, the problem is not with everyone else.

Where does he fit? Backup behind Anderson? Then why do we need Beasley AND Harrell? Backup behind Capela? Then do we really need Nene? Perhaps Morey is trying to see if he can trade one of the other bigs on the roster before offering anything to DMo.

Having too many weapons is never a bad thing unless egos get in the way. One of the things I appreciate about D-Mo is that he doesn't have one. Personally, I want to see him gobble all the backup minutes at 4/5 with Nene getting as little as possible at 5 until the playoffs. He IS pretty old.

Don't forget that D-Mo could possibly be signed-and-traded as part of a larger package for another key piece.

That, or someone like Beasley could be part of such a package.

Trades are things that happen sometimes.

    Absolutely!

Bev, Brewer, Ariza, D Mo and McDaniels are all players that I pretty much expect to be traded by seasons start. None of them fit what we're doing.

I'd expect them to be shipped for more efficient scorers and/or prolific shooters.

So do you think Morey is also asking around for trade partners now? That still makes sense.

I still think Cousins can be had.

I like DMo so I won't be upset if we commit to developing him. But I'm definitely hoping a trade goes down so we can either start accumulating assets again, or actual core players. I don't think Beasley is part of the future, and if the front office doesn't see DMo that way either, they need to make a deal rather than letting another one of our good players walk for nothing.

What do the Rockets have (and are willing to give up) that the Kings would want?

Question for you: Players essentially have to OK a SnT, correct? That is to say, can the team withhold the trade part of the transaction when negotiating the signing part?

If players can refuse to sign the SnT, does looking at who DMo would accept as a trade partner help narrow the field of possibilities.

    Is water wet?

    Is the Pope Catholic?

Does a bear poo in the woods?

Is Morey exploring trade scenarios to try to improve his roster?

The answer to all of these questions is the same.

Correct, D-Mo would need to consent to any S&T scenario.

Well, there were rumors about the Kings interested in Beverley and Gentile last and this year...add D.Mo and Capela which are probably considered good pieces by Vlade and yeah, not saying it's enough, but maybe not that far...

    Walk to where? Taco Cabana?

He's not exactly swimming in offers at the moment.

You don't know that, he might be turning them down to do the QO thing and make a run at next offseason.

We are all speculating at this point.

Occam's razor. The simpler theory is that teams with actual access to information are concerned about his back in combination to his limited sample of productive play and rather not invest in him rather than him waiting to sign a QO to play for a team that is completely unknown at this time in a conference LOADED with heavyweights.

Looks like no one is offering DMO anything. He is stuck with Rockets for QO. ;)

Feel same way. If not a cousins the Okafor or Noel. No way SAC or Philly keep all their bigs.
