I know it is over and done with a lot of ifs, but man, if we could have missed the playoffs and kept the #12 pick, we would have had a lot more options this year. Getting George Hill would look really great. He could have fit really well with Beverly, Harden, and Gordon. I guess we couldn't do that extension for Harden without some other piece shuffling, but that would make us so much better and help protect against injuries.
What value? Why? Beasley played well for the Rockets down the stretch and has some attributes that may play well in an MDA offense. Also, the Rockets need as much talent as possible, and if it has started to click for him; he could be huge. What are you going to get for him? A second round pick at this point? If he plays well, then his value will increase. At this point there isn't much of a market. Llull isn't coming over, so what team right now is going to give up anything other than maybe a #2 pick? The Rockets are better off holding onto his rights and dealing them next year when he might come over.

Trade #2 - I prefer this scenario because I think Bledsoe would be a better fit next to Harden HOU In: PG Eric Bledsoe (PHO) + C/F Nerlens Noel (PHI) + F/G Ben McLemore (SAC) PHO In: F Rudy Gay (SAC) + G/F K.J. Beasley is not part of our future; we need his minutes for DMo and Anderson. He is a tradable asset and we should get something in return. on Llull, any team that trades for him will want to do their own sales job to get him over here. They are gonna want to start building that relationship immediately, so I don't think waiting till next offseason makes much difference.
Houston out: DMO (SnT 3/30)/k.j./future 2nd Houston in: Avery Bradley/Jarebko Boston out: Amir Johnson/Avery Bradley/jarebko/rights to swap with Brooklyn/future 1st Boston in: gallinari/faried/hou 2nd Denver out: gallinari/faried Denver in: amir/dmo/k.j./Brooklyn swap/future 1st Thoughts?
I don't see denver sticking with gallo for the future but that's jus my opinion and they've been rumored to shop faried. I think the Brooklyn pick which is unprotected is very enticing along with an added 1st. Flexibilty in amirs expiring. Denver appears to be destined to be at best mediocre as currently constructed and gaining assets and flexibility could be a route they take especially considering the super team out in the bay. May want to focus more on youth and the future.
What about Bev and Brewer for Tyreek Evans. Pelicans need a backup pg and a small forward .Tyreek can be our sixth man, he is a above average playmaker and a excellent shot creator . We seen in the finals you need multiple shot creators and playmakers to go far in the play-offs.
Hell, let's just absorb the Pelicans whole damn team. If we're sticking with "the birds", the guy I want is Holiday.
I guess we settle for the broken wings and one-eyed birds for now. On a different note, a non-Rocket trade that could work for both teams is a package including Buddy Hield and a bunch of draft picks for Russell Westbrook. NO gets Westbrook to team up with the Brow. Hield goes back to the state where his legend was born. The thunder get something instead of nothing before WB leaves next year. And the Rockets give up and start tanking. Win win for everybody.
