Why would that even matter? This is not a black vs white debate/discussion bu thats what it turned into. This is a hate white people thread, no matter what race you are. This thread shows that ALL races are racist and some just deny the fact that they are. I would have to say well-played. Here is a an unbiased view of America from a "blank canvas". <iframe width="560" height="315" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/A8UTj8lQJhY" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe> Exactly. RocketsLegend might be a troll but nothing he has said has denied that racism exists in the white community, black community or whatever community, but there have been many suggesting that racism doesnt exist in black communities. Which is just flat out wrong and a lie. Some of you have resorted to name calling and insults because it seems you have no rebuttal, in which case you have already lost. P.S. I hate everybody equally.

Man if I hear this dumb *** stupid argument one more time. To simply address it, BLM is about criminal justice reform. The basic argument that black people don't care about inner city violence is of course wrong. It's just that the news doesn't care to report it. As for this guy, a good read on him and in general the REAL racism that goes on today in America. http://www.thedailybeast.com/articl...aling-young-face-of-the-racist-alt-right.html
Just out of curiosity...why do we call east Asians yellow? Never really seen many jaundiced Asians. Guessing brown consists of the Latino population, Indian, Arab ethnicity?? What about calling natives...red?
If BLM is about criminal justice reform then why isn't it just named LIVES MATTER. Why does it have to have a racial component? Why can't these motivated folks fight for everyone? Why can't they fight for me?
This statement right here...and we've just become so numb to the fact that inner city violence is just status quo that it shouldnt be addressed. You have just admitted the impact of the media and its platform. The media has made this into a white vs black thing...etc. We as a society cant look past the color of our skin...this is frankly were we are as a nation. And its destroying us from progressing forward.
This is such an unfair statement to the many Africans/native americans/ hispanic and latinos/arab/indian/east asian populations... to say that the plight of the black man is harder than these other races just proves that you would rather throw yourself a pity party than changes within the community that brings forth change... Every race on this earth has its own challenges that they must face...
People like you sure love moving goal posts. Yes, many conservative leaning posters here believe that racism towards minorities in the US is not an issue and is only sporadically to the point where if any racism does happen it's only an anomaly. I'm sure as a white individual you had to prove yourself to other white people that you arn't a terrorists right? Because I had to because I've been.kiterally been called a terrorist to my face in public even after I ****ing shredded my.leg up for this ****ing country. You think white people.have to prove their.loyality to this country like I did? You think the pre-consived negative connotations that come along with being black or muslim looking in this country is equavilant to being white in the US. I'm sorry that I really don't have much pity for your perceived re racism against you because I really doubt that the majority white population in the US feel as if they are judged before they even having a chance to verbally express themselves while thousands of minorities everyday are pre-judged by people concisely or subconsciously by just a simple glance. I'm sure you know how that feels.
I don't know man, but you are too caught up on the name of the movement which is basically a hashtag gone viral over the actual purpose of it. Let me clarify though, the community actually DOES care. The Media doesn't report about it caring. In fact the media doesn't report about positive protests that happen all around the country. Would the Dallas protests have made any national news if it weren't for the shooter? The national media is like hate p*rn man. It's no wonder people have so many negative attitudes towards each other when all the media puts out are bad images.
It objectively was especially considering duration. From the inception of this country to THEORETICALLY in 1964, black people where objectively treated like second class citizens from being slaves explicitly only chosen because of skin color or being segregated into **** funded schools, or being redlined into ghettos, black people were treated like **** is evident from the fact that white people were SO DISGUSTED with black people they wouldn't even want to share water fountains with them. The hate towards black people went to the genetic level dude. Black people have gotten the short end of the stick relative to other races. Duration, scale , the fact that white people were disgusted with black people at the pure genetic level... yes, good luck convincing me that another race has been treated like **** more than African Americans in this country excluding Native Americans. Oh ya, and let's just be naive and just assume that the culmination of 400 years of explicit racist rhetoric towards blacks just suddenly disappeared in 1964 with a piece of legislation.
So what...every day I am judged for the color of my skin. I right now have a massive beard...and was called ISIS by a black man...FACT. Instead I am a Christian "light skinned brown" man. Being oppressed doesnt mean you wallow in it. But rather, you find ways to overcome it. I have yet to see a movement that addresses such. The BLM does NOT. It is only about BLACK lives...and does NOT include the plight of the many other nationalities in this nation of ours.
It doesn't value non-whites relative to whites in general. If you are low in numbers it's even worse.
I just assume people like you don't have the ability to multitask task because this **** reasoning is always given when someone suggests that they experience racism No, I can multi task. I can work hard and not 'wallow' and still acknlowdge that racism has tangibly affected my life. How do you know I don't attempt to overcome it? What do you know about me and my accomplishments or whether I am trying to overcome racism? Why do you assume just because I have the audacity to mention it, I'm not a hard worker? Why does that type of rhetoric click in your head every time someone mentioned that they might have ever been victims of racism? What? You can't fathom a reality where people can call out racism and be hard workers who don't constantly try to pity themselves? I need to stop typing on my phone. Too many edits dammit.
I'm sorry that happened to you dude. I have condition where I don't like hair in certain places. Other some light body hair I keep my head bald trim but not naked bald. I've been referred to as 'Shaolin Massacre' by a number races.
I would also like to make it clear that this isn't a uniquely white problem. Majorities all over the world **** on minorities of each respective region. It's a universal condition of the human race. But for a first world country that is supposed to be a global hegemony, I know we can do better than the rest of the world. We can show third world countries where racism towards minorities is even worse by a considerable margin how it is done.
No one gives a ***t about what you do or cant do. To get somewhere in life we all work hard and multitask. And we (minorities in this nation) all experience RACISM. This was never about you or your abilities as a person. But rather this farce called BLM. What the fck do they do other than march around...and do the "ra-ra" bit? We are ALL aware that innocent black people are being killed by cops. Like cocaine, the media has painfully made us aware of this fact. But with all these freaking organizations, nothing has been done to make black lives really matter. Its matter to me when I see young black kids who have full of promise get gunned down just because they were at a park at the wrong time. It matters to me to see young black men or women under the bridge in our city. It matters to me to see elderly black individuals unable to get adequate healthcare and resources...But you arent able to get past the color "black..." I've made a point at bold-ing the word black...If you can look past it...you'll see where I stand. I still dont understand why people on this board get so riled up when there is a difference in opinion. And what can be done as a solution. I acknowledge that there are so many intelligent posters on this forum and I enjoy reading the differences in opinion.
