he better be eating at golden corral 3 times a day. Better yet subscribe to the Kevin Spacey "Seven" marinara sauce diet.

I think he is fine as last season was essentially his rookie season. I'm more concerned about his free throws.

Most late 1st round picks have flaws.... Sometimes we just need players to be merely role players.

When you are ambiguous in your criticism, you leave yourself open to interpretation.

    This is what I read.

No it was bait. He wanted someone to ask him what the flaw was so he could respond and tell you that Clint is stupid. By someone asking him what he meant it puts him in position to educate you and feel important.

Yeah. Maybe he could get bigger, lose what made him an NBA baller and end up like Yao. Career shortened because his feet couldn't handle the extra weight. Perfect.

    EYE ROLL:rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes:

Not true. Don't want to state it here at this time. And won't. I'm simply saying we need to trade him. He's a backup 5 at best on a contender.

Maybe you can tell us what you've seen in him that would make us believe he is going to be great.

I don't expect the guy to be great. I expect him to be a competent defensive center who can pound the glass and occasionally score on put backs and alley oops. I'm not expecting Hakeem. I'm just hoping for 80 percent of DeAndre Jordan. Why can't he be that?

At this point I would hope that most are not expecting "great" out of Capela. We expect improvement from a young 2nd year player. This video while not showing alot does show he is working on doing that.

Most here are just wanting the anti-Dwight. A defensive center who will be athletic and block shots while knowing his role on offense, set screens and roll for ally-oops and put backs. He showed he can be that in spurts last year. This year the job is his to lose and he is working to get better.

How you assumed "great" from this I don't know.

To trade him now, what you are you wanting in return? Who is gonna be what Capela is now at the cost of his contract.

His "fundamental" flaw... outside of free throws is what? His lack of size. Given. His lack of basketball IQ. Ha get in line after Brewer and McDaniels. And I would put him above those two for knowing his role in the offense.

I stick by my assessment of what you think his flaw is. You just don't like him.

Oh well. Gladly your name is not Morey.

Needs to increase stamina as well as FT and strength. Did not do well when his minutes increased, lost his springs as season progressed.

So you want him to be the anti-Dwight, just the defensive center that rebounds and sets picks and finishes? You're describing Cole Aldrich. And you're just hoping he becomes that.

Somebody else said 80% of DeAndre. 80% of DeAndre is out of the Association. The backups in the NBA are better than 80% of DeAndre.

Let's be realistic here. These are the centers Capela has to go up against this fall:

    DeAndre
    Pau
    Adams
    Marc
    Gobert
    Zaza
    Festus
    Bogut
    Tyson
    AD
    KAT
    Timofey
    Nurkic

And that's just the West. How many of those guys is he going to be better than?

Most of you are being as unrealistic about Capela as you are about Bev. They're both at the bottom of the pile of starters at their position. They should be backups.
