back to the show imo, that was a fantastic finale. Did anyone else love the fact that all four fsociety hackers had tools to pick locks for the dogs. It's like a part of their makeup. They live to unlock things, so don't leave the home without their tools.
Just finished this....do we know the wife's history?? For some reason, when she told tyrell that he needed to fix this, if he wanted to be part of this family, I felt like she was referring to more than just her and the baby.
watched the first 4 episodes and i'm on the edge of throwing in the towel. It definitely has interesting parts but something is just missing and at times the main guys inner dialogue about society just comes off like whining. I feel like if i was a disgruntled/emo teenager I might be more into this show.
Check out Mr Robot Season 2 thread. Episodes 1-4 were pretty bad. The storyline picks up after episode 5. If you're disappointed so far, the Elliot storyline will continue to disappoint.
thanks. I'll give it a couple more episodes then. If the remaining episodes improve over 1-4 then that bodes well since those weren't half bad. Elliot is an interesting character, but sometimes his shtick gets a little tiresome
There wasn't anything bad about episodes 1-4. If you didn't like them, that's your thing. Season 2 is rated 96% on RT right now.
I've been rewatching the series getting ready for the final season and.... Spoiler I've been paying close attention to how Mr. Robot (Slater) interacts with everyone else when Elliot is in the same scene. I can't believe that people (myself included) didn't realize that it was all in Elliot's head. In many of the scenes during the first season, Mr. Robot is literally standing in front of Elliot as he talks to the other hackers... like Elliot is standing a foot directly behind him. It is so obvious now. I'm really looking to catching these little tidbits as I rewatch through.
Anyone watching the current and final season? GoT ruined my expectations for series finales and I don't know where the plot is going.
The tone of the whole season has been entirely miserable so far. Makes it not very fun to watch. Just hanging on to see what final twists they've got cooked up.
If we're all in here at the end going, "Oh, wow, man!! Mind blown!!" then yes. If this thread stays dead, no.
