I actually never had the sense that bobby was an intelligent person. He can type in complete sentences. That's pretty much all the credit I'll give him in regards to his intelligence.
Any reasonable group would understand the obviousness of what I am saying....clearly there's not many reasonable people here. I know that I'm speaking to a bunch of racist assholes which is why I expected those I was describing to disagree. That said, if you are one of those I was describing who feel "pride" due to the color of your skin, your opinion on literally any issue is invalid.

Exactly- when I worked at a Spaghetti Warehouse in Houston back in the 90s, we had a gay manager who at some point we had a very long talk with about discrimination. You should have heard the stories- not just about him, but from people he knew. Things that would never, ever happen to someone like me. Being spit on. Called a f*****, disgusting, he's going to hell- I mean, right in a public place. I'm telling you, the people that think discrimination doesn't exist probably do not really know anyone who is black, muslim, gay, or whatever. BC I have friends in all 3 groups, and the **** is true.
You guys like piling on too much. Bobby is not actually wrong on some of the things he's claiming. No one should have excessive pride in their skin color, race, etc... The problem is Bobby has an inability to see things from any viewpoint other than his own so he fails to understand the basis for why the point that he's arguing is not even relevant to actual reality.

When minorities have pride event - it's a celebration of culture and the communal challenges they face and have to overcome. When you see a white pride event - it's a celebration of the past which was of whites being in power and dominating everyone else. It also usually is filled with a lot of neo-nazis. I don't understand why you can't understand this difference. You just have to see the world in your very rigid framework and force things into that framework even when it doesn't fit. There's no open mindedness in your thinking. You have no idea what it's like to be a minority in this country. No idea that minorities have all have challenges in different ways because of the color of our skin - and the most challenges for blacks and hispanics. You just can't step into the shoes of someone else and look at things from their perspective, can you? I'll give you an example of how whites need to be dominant are scared of the future while minorities look to the future and are negative about the past. In highschool economics the teacher said, "whites will be a minority group in less than 100 years in America". The whites students freaked out. You could see they were stunned, "But what will happen to us?" "That's not right". It was quite a reaction to see so many people disturbed by this idea that America would not be white. The teacher eased them by saying they will still be the largest group, just not 50% of the population. To many whites - America = white. When asked what makes American culture great - they say football, hockey, apple pie, Elvis - things that white people celebrate. You ask a minority what makes America great they'll say "diversity, hip hop, football & basketball, BBQ's etc" - in other words it will be more across the board. Try it, ask different people this question and see the answers you get. Start asking questions and learn for yourself. You see, when white people talk about how things used to be better in the past. That America is in decline despite there being record wealth, that America is losing its values - to minorities that's code language that America is becoming too brown. There is a feeling if you are a minority not of being a victim, but of being seen as less for being a minority as compared to a white person. It's just the way it is. And it motivates some minorities and disheartens others. For me it motivates me. But if you can't understand this - or appreciate it all - and just write it off as "reverse racism" then you don't understand anything about racial dynamics.
The funny thing about calling out racists in the abstract is how people freak out when they realize it describes them. I'm sorry that you are apparently terrible people but there's nothing I can do about it, I suggest you guys work on it. Anyone that doesn't fit the description would realize what I said was just obvious truth.....unfortunately around here it seems to apply to a LOT of you. Yikes.
You actually bring up something that I never thought about. Many white people like bobby claim that racism towards minorities is non-existent or the scale is minimal to the extent that it is irrelevant. Yet, many of those same white people are SCARED TO DEATH that they might turn into a minority. I mean they ****ing label it WHITE GENOCIDE... SO why are these same white people so afraid of being a minority when being a minority is irrelevant according people like bobby?
There's no such thing as "reverse racism" because that implies a direction, there's just racism.....and if you can't understand that or appreciate it, then you don't understand the issue at all.
