I generally try to avoid this cesspool known as the D&D (aka SpursTalk), but I decided to venture in a few threads. Why do you dork ass trolls do what you do? Serious question. How messed up are you in real life that you feel the need to play a character on an internet message board? I've asked this question before with no answer, but I really want to know. Is RocketsLegend the worst poster in DD history? Not only is he the perfect mix of all the ****ty users I've seen, but he routinely embarasses him self like I've never seen before. I hear bigtexx is pretty bad, but his post aren't nearly as frequent and he seems to know what threads to pick and choose, but I've only been around here since 2010.
I just imagine Rocketslegend being a very opinionated 14 year old in regards to politics and social issues. Most 14 year olds aren't that opinionated with this type of subject matter but if they were, I imagine they would post like Rocketslegend.

Dumbest thing I've ever read. The word you are looking for is "discrimination". Black people can be just as racist as anyone else. But only people in a position of power can "discriminate". To be racist is to hold a belief. To act on racist feelings from a position of power is discrimination. Also... you said "true racism is systematic". The word you are looking for is "systemic".

The exact same thing could be said about black heritage as you have said about white heritage(which was offensive to me but I know it's perfectly ok to offend white people). Also, IMO groups like BLM, whether they intend to or not are having the effect of separating blacks from other races so I don't really see the difference. Since it isn't ok to separate races why is a group like BLM ok? There is only one race, the human race. The only way to end racism is to stop talking about it and stop looking for reasons to be mad at one another... like this thread. We need to start being honest with ourselves about biases conscious and unconscious and making a concerted effort to erase them.

Well you have to look at it in the context of how blackness has been viewed in this country's history. To be blunt it has been (and often still is) viewed as something to be ashamed of. People were told that black meant stupid. That black meant ugly. That black meant inferior. For the longest time this was the message that our country, its laws, and its people sent to the black community. This was the environment that spawned the black pride movement. To say you are proud of your blackness is to tell society that you are not ashamed of what you are. It's a way of taking control of the way people view you. It's literally the same thing as "gay pride". People are told that being gay is shameful, sacrilegious, that it makes them lesser as men/women, etc. And they reply by saying that they won't be ashamed to be who they are. They'll be proud. Those things are not the same as 'white pride'. They have totally different context than 'white pride'.
