I was just watching Fox News and I saw something that was actually hopeful.

A judge, who is very pro law enforcement, was on talking about these types of incidents will happen when certain networks stoke the fires portraying most law enforcement agents as oppressive and racist etc.

The commentator stopped him, and said that after this tragedy now was a time to come together, and not point fingers and stoke the fires of resentment towards groups. She said that many people were waking up to the idea that blaming and stoking those fires isn't really helpful in working together to find a solution.

The judge tried to continue with his talking points again, and again the commentator stopped him and said that wasn't the direction the conversation should be going right now.

It isn't a large earth shattering change, but it is a change. It is only one example but maybe more will follow suit. I'll hope so.

Yes, the best way to solve problems is to accuse people without evidence, and just assume they are guilty.

Thank goodness you aren't in charge of actually finding culprits. I am very grateful that we have people who go about it in ways that are much more effective in finding the guilty parties.

 

Unlikely, they have too much to lose with a move like that. It'll be a much smaller group that may have had something to do with Quanell's group at some point but wouldn't be currently with them anymore like the Dallas shooter.
