Yeah, but what's the point in playing with those kids just to steal them minutes and shots? It's not like he's trying to play with and for them like he should, he's just chucking shot after shot without a reason...

    Whew, that was ugly.

    Pluses: Dekker, Wiltjer, Gaines

Minuses: pretty much everyone else. Really disappointed in and for GP. Hope he gets after it Sunday. KJ's stock dropping as fast as his bricks.

Mcdaniels is a scrub. 3/14 shooting in summer league and he will be in the rotation behind harden

I see what you are saying but think of it from his standpoint. He played in China most of last year & basically around trash competition. He probably feels he needs to get more NBA level talent games around him. Beasley clearly looks like he knows what he is doing, he just missed shots. He was our 2nd most consistent offensive player the last few months of the season. I don't mind him playing in the Summer League. I don't think he will play every game.

I want to see more Dekker, Gaines, GP2, Onauku, Wiltjer.

    I trust in Harrell.

KJ - Not so much faith in his game.

Agree...there is a time to say goodbye...his time is now. And #21? You are kidding me...that was our 2nd round choice ? You have to laugh to keep from crying.

"Just chucking shot after shot without a reason"

You just described Beasley's game no matter when or where he's playing. 7 points on 15 shots is just brutally awful. KJ didn't shoot well either, but he scored more points than he took shots. Beasley is just next level terrible.

I can see why Murray liked KJ. We only had to give up Canaan and a second IIRC so it wasn't like we gave up much, but KJ can't shoot. He's a perimeter defender without a shot. If we were to shop him, I'd be surprised if someone were to give up a second for him.

Well look at it this way; we probably can't afford to keep both him and Brewer on the roster given the new priority on shooting. So at least one of them is likely gone.

We could get a 2nd for KJ pretty sure. It's just one bad game.

Any chucker will have games where they happen to make the shots they chuck, he still plays no defense and is a chucker.

I don't know why you guys are making fun of Chinanu. I actually didn't like the pick but I see the potential with his game.

He has super long arms. He is off with his movements here and there but give him 1 year & he can become a defensive force / rebounder. I don't expect much offense out of him but every team can use someone like him for 8 minutes a night.
