Okafor could be in play for the C's: <blockquote class="twitter-tweet" data-lang="en"><p lang="en" dir="ltr">Grousbeck and Ainge say the Celtics aren't finished making moves. I think their next target could be Jahlil Okafor. <a href="https://t.co/My5ncrk6MY">https://t.co/My5ncrk6MY</a></p>— Kevin O'Connor (@KevinOConnorNBA) <a href="https://twitter.com/KevinOConnorNBA/status/751471560410693632">July 8, 2016</a></blockquote> <script async src="//platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script>
Ainge probably wants to trade for Okafor as a precursor to trading for Boogie. Figuring that the Kings would be more apt to trade Boogie if they got a quality center prospect in Okafor in return. I see you Danny!
Why would Sac need yet another center, besides Cousins they have 4 other centers that they really like on their roster: Cauley-Stein Koufos Papagiannis Labisierre Celtics should just keep Okafor and pair him with Al Horford and Isaiah Thomas.
Sac: They could trade for Okafor because he has more upside than any of the other Kings centers. You exchange Boogie's bad behavior for a good young prospect. Sac can trade the other riff raff centers on their roster if they feel there is a glut. Boston: They would trade for Boogie because he is a finished product, a win now player on a team that just got Horford who is also a win now player.
I'd like to see if we could get Jerian Grant on the CHEAP as Bulls make room for Wade New Bulls Wings/Guards Depth Chart: SF - Butler / McDermott SG - Wade / Snell PG - Rondo / Valentine At best, he might be in a camp battle with #14 pick Valentine for backup mins behind Rondo, but why draft a 4yr senior to replace Rose unless you think he's ready for a role as a rookie? I loved him last year and desperately wanted him at #18 Instead we got Dekker and he went 1 pick later I'd love to see him as very cheap, low rist, high reward Bev/Gordon insurance policy, plus he can also play some at SG Adding Grant Could also enable the Rockets to explore trades involving Bev without so much pressure to instantly find a new starting PG Very poor shooting as a rookie last year could have his value low right now Could a future 2nd pick be enough to finally get a young, developmental PG on this roster? If so, I'd do it
No. Majority are assuming Lou Williams... Even i thought that til i did some deeper thinking. I think our two targets are Ricky Rubio and Paul Millsap.
I definitely believe the Rockets want Millsap. I just don't know if they have the assets to get it done or if the Hawks are motivated, "now", to make that trade. Would they hold out until the February trade deadline? Possible. But the longer they wait, the less value they will get back.
It is a crying shame that the Rockets outside of Harden have nothing of trade value needed to land Jahlil Okafor.
I don't see why the Rockets would want Anderson and Milsap. Maybe the Hawks will want to pair Dwight with Anderson...? That would be cool.
The only most likely to be traded is Snell. Snell has only this year cheap and then hits FA and has shown very little things.
