Precisely, which is also true of most people who shout All Lives Matter! It is an angry response to those who say Black Lives Matter, as seen in this thread where someone said "F*** BLM" and followed it with All Lives Matter. Additionally, the scenarios are not equal in the justice applied. This sniper who killed these officers was a despicable human being, but there was never a chance he would escape justice. He was either going to die last night/early this morning or he would have stood trial. The same cannot be said for the "few bad apples" in the police department who kill black people. Instead, black people are lectured about their clothing and their attitude. As a society we've agreed for the most part that it's wrong to tell a woman it's her fault she got raped because she wore skimpy clothes and acted flirtatious, but it's ok to tell a black person it's their fault they got shot for the way they dress and their "attitude."
Also when it slips in the "hate when blacks kill other blacks" which is usually spun out there whenever blacks get killed by whites. And usually murder rate in Chicago gets included, which somehow is an important right wing talking point.
Based on the type of training and skill that was demonstrated, these guys were professionals. The learned of the route from either BLM, a police contact, posing as a BLM member, or someone other organization or source that knew the route. Do they know if the route was publicized ahead of time - I mean wouldn't the general public be told the route ahead of time? I guess if they suspect...than not.
Sorry Brando, or to anyone else that took offense to my post. Been dealing with a mother who has cancer (as well as a father who's in the hospital), and thus I don't have the time to follow many threads. That said, I stated that ALL lives matter. The "surge of emotion" is for all of the senseless killings.
It's a flow chart. Start with black on black crime Bring up Al Sharpton not protesting when a black person kills a black person Ask how many black people killed black people in Chicago this weekend? (FYI, it's popular on talk radio now to give a weekly update on this) Ask why it's ok for black people to call each other ***** Mention that political correctness is ruining this country Say "don't call the police the next time you need them!" Point out that if you don't have a bad attitude or dress like a thug you won't be treated like one Blame Obama for "making things worse"

Anyone who makes broad sweep generalizations about any group - whether they are blacks, cops, Muslims - whomever - are truly stupid.
That was a coordinated terrorist act dumb dumb. You're such a delusional pro-black racist its quite pathetic. Multiple shooters, coordinated, bombs How is that different from the Paris attacks? Different agendas for sure.. (ISIS using Islam, and these shooters who knows their motive). But their point is to create fear and "get revenge". Sounds like terrorists to me. Don't be racist against Muslims brah. That only they can be terrorist. My BOF brotha..
No doubt, if anyone gets their minds changed because of this single incident they are idiots to begin with.
shocking really. We need to hold cops to a higher standard and stop the militarization of police force where they are judge jury and executioner especially over minor infractions. (END the WAR on Drugs) But it won't end well if BLM or whomever the leaders are in the black community promote vengeance against the police in retribution. All that will do is exasperate the issue. I feel bad for the loss of life on both sides and wouldn't want to be a young black male or a police officer today where you are judged guilty by association and not by your actions.

Wanting them to be held to the highest standards, and them being held to the highest standards are two different things. Anyway you are just parroting John Stewart, so I get it. People are fed up with the justice system.
I actually wasn't parroting Jon Stewart but I see from that meme that he has said something similar so I agree with him. I'm not sure what the point of your first sentence is.
