Harden still be like..."they ain't that good!".

Then, we go on to lose like the whole season series against them without a single win.

If you play somebody and they pick the Warriors and you beat them make sure you send him a message saying trade the game in.

Call me crazy but them losing bogut, barbosa, ezeli, barnes, and probably speights are going to be very costly. Knowing that those players are not in the same universe as a KD but chemistry is everything. They had like 3 years to play with each other.

People said the same thing about the Celtics when KG and Ray Allen joined them.

Guess what happened? Their scrubs got open looks all day and one of those scrubs even got enough confidence to turn into an all star

I doubt it. Their players are very unselfish and Durant also seems to want a movement-based unselfish offense. He also fits into their scheme on offense and defense perfectly. The Warriors didn't shoehorn in some random star who doesn't fit (like, say, Dwight Howard, if you still consider him a star), they not only got a top-three player but an ideal fit. That's what makes this move so incredible.

Lets not make things more complicated than it actually is... Whichever team Durant was going to, was going to make that team EXTREMELY better. Now the team he went to just so happened to already be the best team in the NBA.

Now at the same time... if the Dubs suffer a major injury to one of its big 4, things could get dicey! And dicey for the Warriors means not win a championship. Next season, if they don't want a championship, they'll go down as one of the biggest busts ever!

Getting Durant has given them injury insurance. If they lose a star, they're reduced to--a big three, like they had last year. If they had lost Curry entirely in these last playoffs, they would have been swept out of the Western Conference Finals. This coming season, if they lose Curry in the playoffs...they have Durant/Green/Thompson. They'd maybe be a slightly worse version of last year's full-health team (due to having lost some depth) instead of a gutted version.

They can also keep their stars' minutes played low all season long. They'll start their four stars, but they can stagger minutes after that and have three stars on the floor at all times while rotating who's resting. Against lesser teams, they can rest their stars even more and guarantee having two stars on the floor for every second.

I think people are actually underestimating what getting Durant does. It doesn't just make their starting lineup better, it lets them play two/three stars for a larger proportion of the game compared with last year while simultaneously resting stars more. That's crazy.

Lol, you sound like how I play, I only go Rockets online,.even when everyone seemed to pick the super teams... I just loved getting them to rage/lose... Unfortunately this team could make it a bit harder to beat w/ the Rockets atm... but I'm ready, haha.

I used to get some interesting voicemail/voice messages (whatever it was called) after the games on 360... Some guy was like "don't quit your day job, you suck, blah blah, if I meet you on the court", Lolol, okay??? This of course was after he lost with the #1/2 team that year against the Rockets in a ranked game, lol. And badly...

I of course would always play ****ty in the 1st quarter on purpose to make sure I got the win once they quit midway in the 2nd... iirc correctly most of the hate was turning it on in the 2nd quarter (loved 10-20 point swings in 1 qtr). I only did that once I realized you didn't get **** if they quit in 1st qtr (I can't remember if this was Live/2k), but this was a long time ago and I think its changed so you don't have to act/hustle in the first qtr...

Don't forget David West + whatever other vets they will inevitably add, along with their rookies McCaw and Jones.

Warriors didn't loose any meaningful depth, they just need to add one more vet center to backup Pachulia and they are basically the same team from last year with a Barnes/Durant swap
