You can't watch that video and say he was not resisting.... your bias is showing big time.

The case of a woman who acted like an ass and then hung herself in jail is on the minds of African Americans when they get pulled over? Really?

    If you say so champ.

How does one not resist when being tackled to the ground and pinned down my two men's elbows and knees? Seems like that would be pretty painful, no? I'd go as far as to say that in the heat of the moment, it's impossible to play dead like a possum while that's happening.

Well anyone who isn't a r****d wouldn't let it get that far. They'd just comply with police to begin with. Of course, anyone that isn't a r****d wouldn't be carrying a gun illegally that could land them a 10 year minimum hard labor sentence. This guy wasn't the sharpest peanut in the turd.

Do we even know if he was given the opportunity to surrender himself peacefully to the officers?

Bobby's apathy to people dying is well documented. Just accept it and move on. In Bobby's mind anyone that isn't him has about a 90% chance of being a "r****d" and he has basically expressed that their death is probably a good thing for society anyway. Surprised he doesn't support mass euthanasia for anyone who can't score at a certain level on an IQ test.

That's a good point, we don't know that for certain yet because the 2 videos begin after he's already resisting arrest. In fact the first video starts when he got hit by the taser. I would think it's a safe assumption that he was given the opportunity to follow directions peacefully and he just chose not to very much like when he got arrested for selling weed while carrying a gun several years back. He's got a history of resisting arrest when he's about to go away for a long time.

I'm apathetic about those who act foolishly and cause their own death.....and you want to march on Washington when that happens. To each their own kiddo.

The resistance happened before the tackle.... once a cop gets to the point of tazering and tackling a guy that is assumed to have a gun you have already put yourself in a VERY bad situation. You have a whole lot of adrenaline flowing in everyone and decision making becomes less about thinking and more about survival.

Still.. this is a worst case outcome that could have been avoided.

If somebody was resisting arrest wouldn't you your taser gun to stop him from acting up instead of shooting the person?

They did use their taser on him, it was ineffective. The first video started with him getting hit by the taser and then when he still didn't go down, the cop tackled him to the ground.

There should be sensors on the holsters of all on duty police officers. Every time that thier weapons are drawn it should be documented and investigated. Body cams should be an unremovable part of thier uniforms that couldn't possibly "fall off".

If we can't find change by using the blatant and repetitive loss of lives as cause, then let's do it with Irrefutable data.

Well that's a bit harsh given that he was a little kid but yeah, it was stupid for him to be running around with a realistic looking toy gun with the red tip removed to make it look more realistic. It was also incredibly stupid for him to reach for it when the cops showed up. I write that off as a kid just being a kid, but if you want to go all out and call him r****ded for it....okay.

I'm saying it helps no one for you to fly that false flag without your own disclaimer or you are contributing to the problem.

This man (with a criminal record for having sex with a juvenile) didn't want to go back to jail and was desperate.

That was a misunderstanding that ended tragically and not really relevant to anything we're talking about in this thread. Literally the only thing he has in common with others is that he's black.....maybe that's all that matters to you, but it's irrelevant to me.

No, it really wasn't, and there's no case for it being murder.

You need to pick up the nearest dictionary and understand what the word murder means. You throw it around like you have an idea, but sadly you have zero understanding of the term.
