    Never a good time for this, but this looks even worse because of other shooting. Sounds like the cop was on edge already, jumpy..

    Dang, what are you supposed to do if you have a gun on you and the officer wants your ID which is also in your pocket. I wouldn't know how to react without making the officer feel threatened. Open the door with both my hands from the outside door handle? Let cop reach in your pocket?

    just because you get a mug shot doesn't make you a felon. I got a mug shot for drinking underage misdemeanor like 10 years ago when I was 20. The article states he just had minor misdemeanors.
