Chicago has to trade Calderon to sign Wade.

Love the idea of getting Avery Bradley for D-Mo but not sure Boston would do that. Bradley improved a lot last year and I assume he is still a top PG defender but haven't seen much from him. Maybe D-Mo and McD for Bradley?

Not sure we need Speights but would be good depth if D-Mo gets traded or leaves. Getting rid of Brewer would be amazing. Signing Scola for Vet min would be nice too.

Morey's been trying to get Rubio for a few years it seems and now with D'An tony it just seems a logical fit. I have no idea about what the Wolvesw needs are, but I know from reports they are definitely seeking a future first rounder. He would be exactly what we need besides the lack of defense factor. I would really like to see someone else besides Harden set the offense and bring the ball up at least. All that dribbling and not doing nothing with the ball is hard to watch.

    Why does Boston need DMO?
No NBA team GM r so stupid to do this trade.
Boston will never trade Avery Bradley if they don't get a allstar

I'm not confusing myself and I'm not disagreeing with your above statement. Like I said before, I'd love a Bledsoe type player at the point. Realistically, we just don't have the pieces. Taking in the entire situation it doesn't take much to realize Harden will be the point (which was OP's question). The "ifs" behind it are a different conversation, but they'll be answered this season for better or worse.

    Lou Williams.
The only bad thing is he's not injury prone so he won't fit very well with the rest of the team.

I don't think we have to go for a big name point guard. Next summer Chris Paul, Westbrook, Curry, and Lowry will all be free agents. And even if we strike out on all of those top line players, there's also quality guys like Teague, George Hill, and Jrue Holiday.

Id rather trade Brewer to open room to sign another wing like Allen Crabbe.

Lol? An all star? Bradely is good, but not that good. He's a younger version of Beverley, with a bit better offense and defense, his value is not even close to an all star caliber player.

Important to remember that the "great assets" of Bradley and IT have only two more years on the cheap.
After this season end they will be expiring who are about to get paid big bucks.
    Also nearing 30.

-just from a trade value standpoint coz of the brainwashing from Boston idiots who make them sound like they are worth superstars-

    Calderon of bulls sign Wade

    Trade for Bledsoe or knight

Pipe dream snag russell Westbrook bit that also means losing Ariza and Bev but worth it.

You could always trade for Jrue Holliday (11M expiring) and complete the Pelicans 3-pack (Gordon/Anderson) :p:grin:

Harden cannot be the only creator on the floor. That is played out. He has to learn to get off the ball and share with another good playmaker. We have to bring one in via trade. We have not had one with him yet. JSmoove two years ago was the closest we had (and you see how goo that made us look for a while). In order to make this team better we have to get at least one more playmaking G or SF to pair with him. I know it sounds like a lot to ask, but I think he would be down with that with a proven guy. He tried with Lawson but Lawson was horrible. With a new system he will have to learn to trust it. It's the only way to become a really good team (and for him to show he can be a team player). Gotta be able to attack teams from multiple positions on the court, not just Harden up top with the ball every time down. Waaay to easy to defend that.

Holiday is a big question mark...

I think he was probably the best Pelican last year, at least after the all star week end, and i think he would be really good next to Harden, i'm just very scared about his foot...

I don't see how we keep magically warping players to our team. Speights? Eric Bledsoe? Westbrook? I love CF, so entertaining! :)

    Nah,

but its highly likely the Rockets will pick up either Cole or Douglas to complete the trifecta.

I would get Scola - we'll need him when Anderson is injured. Also pick up Barbosa.
