he also doesn't have one bust knee and got only 6 minutes a game.
He was the best player in the finals against Barca.

Why makes him worth the MLE is like asking "what makes someone I want to hire worth of the minimum wage?"

I'm not really against him but he's about to be 29 and he's never played in the NBA before. It usually takes a while for Euros to get used to playing at the much higher level of basketball played in the NBA and he simply doesn't have that much of his prime left. Sure we should get him to come over if he'll do it, but I wouldn't expect much from him. Maybe a serviceable bench guy eventually for a year or two before the inevitable decline.

If he is nearly 29, not worth our time to bring over.

Saw D-Mo at Cle on Sunday.... I told him to stay... said it wasn't really up to him... really cool and nice guy.

If playing D-Mo at C over Capela is better for the Rockets, I absolutely would want to do that. I could care less what is "good for D-Mo" as a Rockets fan, only
what is good for the Rockets.

You really see the Rockets using 10M of cap in Donatas having already Capela, Anderson, Nene, Beasley, Harrell, Onuaku?

No. I see DMo going to other team. Current roster changes means that Rockets don't need DMo anymore and the qualifying offer was made just in case of getting good player really cheap and trade later for something.

I don't see any point DMo to say in Houston after so many lies regarding his position. If Rockets really need him, why the hell recruit more PF/C players...

You have 10 million in cap, which is already factoring in Dmo's cap hold.

    Here are your scenarios:
-you spend your 10m, you then use your bird rights to exceed the cap and resign Dmo to whatever.
-You renounce Dmo, and then you have 15m to spend.

For trades later down the road?

Again... it doesn't not matter a damn what D-Mo wants. It only matters what offers he receives and whether or not the Rockets are willing to match.

    - Rockets have about 10mil in cap space

    - Rockets salary includes DMo 5.7 cap hold

    - if Rockets sign DMo for 10 million that on adds 4.3 million to existing cap

    - if Rockets sign DMo to 10 million contract they still have about 4 million in cap space.

    - I expect Rockets to use up the 10 million in space on another player and then sign DMo using bird rights putting the Rockets over the cap.

Yeah I don't think the Rockets spend the 10-15 mil a year it would take to match DMo's offer sheet. I think that's why they brought Nene in to be honest.

Not to mention we have Beasley, Harrell, Deller/Ariza(smallball) and Onuaku as well.

Besides Ariza, none of those guys are replacements.
