Beverley Harden Ariza Anderson Nene How would people feel about this? I think unless Capela bulks up and can truly hold down that center position, you start Nene. This starting line-up doesn't blow away but it's far from incompetent. I still want to see Beverley replaced, because with him and Ariza you just do not have any opportunity to create something. Guys will kick the ball out and it's either a 3pt shot for them or a meaningless drive to the basket.
Starting lineup today will change tomorrow will change one week from now will change one month from now will change by training camp will change by opening night.
I think Capela needs to start strictly from a rebounding standpoint. That starting five is fantastic offensively, but they'll get slaughtered on the glass. I see Nene as the first big off the bench, playing 20-25 minutes between PF and C and to help provide an offensive and defensive punch to the second unit.
Rockets need to shake it up with Dantoni atthe helms... If the bucks can play 6,11 guy at point than why not let Harden run point. He basically can do what Nash did... Harden Gordon Ariza Anderson Nene
Bev | ________ Harden | Gordon | McDaniels Ariza | Brewer | Dekker Anderson | Motiejunas (assuming a match) | Harrell Capela | Nene | Onuaku Gotta assume a trade is coming. Hopefully getting rid of Brew.
Nene is not starting.....and Harden and Gordon will not start together (our defense would truly SUCK!) on this team. Look for Bledsoe, knight or MCW to be the PG. ??? Harden Ariza Anderson Capela Still makes you want to kill yourself..smh
I'd feel like it would be comparable to the 2013 Wizards starting five, which was surprisingly competitive...in the East.
Starting lineup as of today: Patrick Beverley/Andrew Goudelock/Gary Payton II James Harden/ Eric Gordon Trevor Ariza/ Corey Brewer/ Sam Dekker Ryan Anderson/ (DMO)/ Michael Beasley/ Montrez Harrell Clint Capela/ Nene There's still some questionable areas of the roster that need to be addressed. Obviously PG needs to be a priority via trade if at all possible. I also think SF needs to be upgraded. Brewer and Dekker off the bench is pretty weak.
C'mon man, can we wait to do this when training camp starts? When we KNOW what the roster will be. All this does is give folks a chance to bash the team and say how bad we are going to suck (based on an incomplete roster) knowing full 'darn' well this is not the final roster. Just not smart, but I guess you need something to keep you entertained during this down season in sports (unless you are a big baseball fan of course). Be ready to make several more of these in the coming weeks as the roster changes.
I'd prefer Bev starting over Gordon. We need scoring off the bench. Right now, who's that gonna be? Brewer? If we can re-sign D-Mo and add another backup guard, we could have the following lineup: Capela Anderson Ariza Harden Bev And our bench would be: Gordon D-Mo Nene McDaniels [whoever the other backup guard is] That's a team that won't strike fear in the hearts of anyone, but it's not bad. Frankly it's better than the squad that got off to the 19-5 start a couple years ago that landed McHale his premature 3-year extension.
It's too early to tell. I am pretty sure a trade is coming. Not any insider but I just feel like Morey has a trade or two he is trying to work out to finalize this roster. Gotta wait for the end of free agency so we can see were all the chips fall and go from there.
Horford? Gasol? Conley? The list could go on Slight chance but the chance was there. Sure from an offense standpoint, not that bad. Bad it is going to be struggle defensively. Lmao
