    This

After ALL the years having a bigman with no post moves, we FINALLY get someone that can score down low. Nene is one of the better post players in the league. I like this move

Barbosa is next for our all offense, no defense philosophy. Brazilian, a player Morey has previously coveted, and played with D'Antoni.

Nene is a guy the Rockets always coveted, all the way back to when he was in Denver.

He once was a terrific face up scorer...one of the most efficient in the league actually, but who knows what he actually has left.

He still has quick hands and still offers some resistance inside. He is still a good defensive player and an underrated passer. This is a really solid signing, especially when you consider the amount he signed for and in the market place as it currently stands. You should be able to get 15 minutes of solid play from him.

    What's next on Codmans list?

    Barbosa & another shooter?

Find Brewer a home. Dmo gone?

Yes I agree, for the room exception it's a solid signing. It's also important to remember though that he's an oft-injured 33 year old who will be 34 when the season starts. He has been in decline already and he's hit that age where he can report to camp one year and just be cooked out of nowhere.

This isn't criticism of the deal though. I'm good with it. It's cheap veteran depth.

Yeah. They definitely need to add another PG. I view Goudelock as a combo guard who can play the position, but I'd be shocked if he's still on the roster at the start of the season. I think it's more likely that Gary Payton II or Isaiah Thomas crack the 15-man roster than he does.

I do think a trade is coming, though. There are too many wings on this team and too many young players who aren't going to see playing time. I think a trade for a PG would be ideal. Bledsoe? Knight? Rubio? But if you trade for one of those guys, you could lose Ariza, and then who do they start at SF?

I count 7 digits to the left of the decimal point.

You were right the first time.
