He said nothing wrong today. You're being brainwashed by the media. btw he has said this in the past. multiple times! I can't believe people are so easily manipulated by the media.
Have fun with your growing debt and pointless wars. That's what you get for electing corporate puppets
So what's trumps solution for the growing debt? Filing for bankruptcy or printing more money? And you agree US should pull out from NATO?
https://www.theguardian.com/world/2003/mar/13/israel Along with the money, the old man yesterday received a certificate from President Saddam in recognition of his son's futile suicide attack on an Israeli gunboat. In January, Mahmoud Jamasi strapped explosives to a raft and guided it towards the vessel off the Gaza coast, but was blown to bits by Israeli gunfire before he could do harm to anyone else. Altogether, more than $1m is to be handed out in Gaza in the coming days in the Iraqi leader's name - probably the last distribution of its kind if the Americans forge ahead with their invasion plans. The money is allocated on a sliding scale: $25,000 to the families of suicide bombers; $10,000 to fighters killed resisting the Israelis; $1,000 for a battle injury and $5,000 in compensation for a demolished home. http://www.pbs.org/wgbh/frontline/article/muammar-qaddafi-and-libyas-legacy-of-terrorism/ When Pan Am Flight 103 was blown up in the skies over Lockerbie, Scotland nearly three decades ago, it was one of the deadliest terrorist attacks against Americans before 9/11. The 1988 bombing killed 270 people, including 189 U.S. citizens. Just one man, a Libyan, was ever convicted for the attack, and even though Libya’s former leader, Mummar Qaddafi, for years denied a role in the bombing, in 2003, his government issued a statement accepting responsibility “for the actions of its officials.” Other Qaddafi backed terrorism: 1986 — THE LA BELLE DISCO BOMBING: 2 American servicemen killed. 1986 — HIJACKING OF PAN AM FLIGHT 73 - 5 Americans killed. 1989 — BOMBING OF UTA FLIGHT 772 - 170 people killed. I guess you mean that Saddam and Qaddafi killed them "effectively" with money and training. Pathetic to see right wing neocons double down on praising these two radical islamic leaders.
The average self made millionaire declares bankruptcy 7 times on the way there. So, not a great thing, but not really a bad thing, either. Someone who has run a business certainly knows a lot more about running businesses than someone who never has...you would agree on that, wouldn't you?
He was given a million dollars by his father so it's not exactly self made but the government certainly isn't a business and it shouldn't be run like one.
I love how people make up this idea he was self-made when he was born a millionaire. I wish I was smart enough to pick millionaire parents so I could have been "self-made" The notion that a business person can run a country is laughable at best. Considering that the economy is run more by the Fed, industry, and consumer spending. The goal of the president is not to screw it up and to course correct along the way. Cutting taxes for the rich has proven to be a disaster of a strategy and the reverse of that has been shown to work very well - pulling California out of financial crisis and into one of the lowest unemployment rates in the nation. And Minnesota has been doing very well as well. The goal of a business is to make a profit. The goal of a president is to lead $350 million people forward. Not the same.
The $1,000,000 dollar loan wasn't the only thing Trump's father gave him. https://www.washingtonpost.com/news/fact-checker/wp/2016/03/03/trumps-false-claim-he-built-his-empire-with-a-small-loan-from-his-father/ Trump’s father, like most wealthy individuals, also set up trusts before he died. Donald Trump admitted in a 2007 deposition that he borrowed at least $9 million from his future inheritance when he encountered financial difficulties. The documents (appended at the end of this article) suggest some property—worth, after expenses, about $30 million–was kept in trust after Fred Trump’s death to provide income to his wife, who died in 2000. So that also was presumably divided by the children after her death. The building of the Grand Hyatt hotel in 1978 near New York’s Grand Central station was a key element of Trump’s first big deal in Manhattan — obtaining an option on old Penn Central railroad properties. The new hotel, which replaced an aging Commodore property, helped put Trump on the map. There was a nearly $1 million loan from Trump’s father that was part of the deal — Fred Trump’s Village Construction Corp. provided the loan to help repay draws on a Chase Manhattan credit line that Fred Trump had arranged for his son as he built the hotel. But that loan was only a small part of the father’s involvement in the deal. Trump’s father — whose name had been besmirched in New York real estate circles after investigations into windfall profits and other abuses in his real estate projects — was an essential silent partner in Trump’s initiative. In effect, the son was the front man, relying on his father’s connections and wealth, while his father stood silently in the background to avoid drawing attention to himself. Fred Trump — along with the Hyatt hotel chain — jointly guaranteed the $70 million construction loan from Manufacturers Hanover bank, “each assuming a 50 percent share of the obligation and each committing itself to complete the project should Donald be unable to finish it," according to veteran Trump chronicler Wayne Barrett in his 1992 book, “Trump: The Deals and the Downfall.” Fred Trump’s signature on the guarantee ensured the new hotel would get built. “No document in the long paper trail attached to the Commodore deal better demonstrated the lack of bank confidence in the Donald or the project, and none made clear the limits of his promoter role,” Barrett wrote. Trump simply did not have the credit or connections to obtain such financing on his own. “It was Fred’s two-decade-old relationship with a top Equitable officer, Ben Holloway, that had helped entice them to do the project.” Trump also benefited from three trusts that had been set up for family members. In 1976, Fred Trump set up eight $1 million trusts, one each for his five children and three grandchildren, according to the casino document. (That today would be worth about $4 million in inflation-adjusted dollars.) As Trump’s casinos ran into trouble, Trump’s father also purchased $3.5 million gaming chips, but did not use them, so the casino would have enough cash to make payments on its mortgage — a transaction which casino authorities later said was an illegal loan. The only thing true about trump is that he's a self made narcissist. If it weren't for his daddy's millions and influence he'd be at Belmont Park right now shovelling horse!@#$ instead of peddling it to the American public.
Just to be clear, are you saying the world would be a better place with Hussein and Ghadaffi alive and in charge of their countries?
One of Trump Sr.'s attorneys walked into one of junior's casinos with several million dollars. He then proceeded to lose every dollar at the gambling table. Junior only had to pay a $60k "fine" for the loan.
I'm against genocide and stupid wars so count me as against both. Which one were you for? Genocide or the Iraq War?
splain' your evil Trumpeteer attacking this gay black man RocketsLegend. Stupid liberal trump supporters being disrespectful. <iframe width="560" height="315" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/wAeB_yl2E90" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>
Well that kid out debated him but only because the guy was emotional and didn't have the facts. Facts he could have mentioned were about Trump being sued for housing discrimination, for calling blacks lazy and that he didn't want them counting his money, putting up false crime statistics about blacks on his Twitter feed and so on. But I think the point isn't that Trump is racist - it's that he is perfectly fine with racism as a tool to leverage for power. That's what makes him scary. Otherwise this video is just a D&D backnforth video version.
Or...maybe that libtard just couldn't deal with the troof. Black people everywhere are scared of coming out and supporting Trump,
