Harrison frickin' Barnes just signed a contract that will pay him like $24 million dollars per year.

Timofey frickin' Mozgov just signed a contract for $16 million dollars a year.

It's just the market right now. Rockets will be fine. Cap is going up next year too.

He might not be as excited if we retain Dmo and he has to compete for a starting spot . Hopefully 20 mil keeps him happy regardless if he comes off the bench

"I'm more than excited to get on the court with the best player in the league."

I'm pumped, Ryan sounds like he'll be quite media-friendly.

.....have you ever been offered a raise and been like "no thanks, boss; let's shore up the IT Department instead!"

Totally agree. I love ClutchFans but most of our fanbase is toxic right now. Things will get better when the season starts and the team is winning, but it'd be nice if more people had a little faith in the organization and players. Things could be much worse. I understand some of the frustrations, but this is still a playoff team for crying out loud. Getting a high seed in the playoffs is certainly possible.

Durant's camp is in spin mode. He kept talking about how close he was to Westbrook on and off the court last season. He is just trying to take all the heat off that he is getting for leaving.

Maybe but there have been rumors about Durant being frustrated about it for awhile. And Durant has seemed to go out of his way to try to dispel those rumors, not confirm them. Even talking about it during his MVP speech- "Love ya Russ"

Dantoni is so fixated on reviving his career that he did the most unthinkable thing.

He shaved off his trademark moustache.

Yup, but Westbrook did play better than Durant most of the time in the last 2 years.

Ryan Anderson confirming what everyone else sees that actually watches us sees. Individually, Harden creates the most open looks from 3 in the League & it's not even close.

B-b-b-but they're late in the shot clock (despite their defender being 10 feet away) so it's his fault they can't make it.

Ryan Anderson averages over 20 points per game in 36 minutes in the coveted stretch 4 role. He's much more worthy of the contract than players like Mozgov and Barnes.

We've definitely gotten better as whole I think - more offensive options. Hopefully Capela and Harrell can step up their paint D because where GSW has 2 lock down perimeter bigs and one PF centre who can do everything, we have Beverley and Ariza who both showed signs of deterioration on the defensive end last year.

I'm worried about those "stops" late in games that we will need to win.

not gonna bring up the contract or the defensive issues. I'm sure he will fit right in and have a career year in this system. Also nice to hear something positive from a player that actually wants to be here. Still think this is the wrong direction to go (no rebuilding that is), but since that's the direction we are headed: welcome warmly Ryan Anderson.

Now earn it on the court!

The culture here is going to be sooooo much better. Anderson, Gordon, MDA all high character people and definitely guys you want to play with and for.
