Lol, you think your President is actually an enemy to our nation, but it is other people who are foolish.

I'll say this now in the off-chance that Trump becomes president: I think he's a narcissist, I think he's a fool, I think he puts his own concerns over the interests of the country, I think his governance will be a disaster, but I don't think he will actually actively seek to destroy the country. Sometimes, I've wondered if my disdain for Trump is like the unfathomable disdain some people have for Obama and that maybe hating Trump will help me understand the psychology -- but no, obviously the hatred for Obama is qualitatively different because no matter how much I hate Trump I won't ascribe actual villainy to him.

You see, I care more about my personal finances and the health of this country for my friends and family than stupid emails and whether or not someone can follow the IT policy.

The evidence that matters to me is that the policies of states like California and Minnesota have led to the best surpluses and least unemployment in the country while those of Kansas have lead to the worst. Those are the policies I care about. And Trump is supporting the policies of a Kansas, and Hillary the ones of Cali and Minnesota.

This whole business is a distraction. I want a better life for myself and those I care about. That's what matters to me. So you know what, I vote for her. It's not really a hard decision because that's what's important to me.

Oh - and to whomever - thanks for the Rep!!!! Love it! BUT - it's spelled "Kool-Aid" not "Koolaide"!

FINALLY. An honest post from you.

While I certainly understand your thoughts and reasoning here, I'll just posit this thought.

You can want all the above and justify voting for Clinton because of it....but don't ever state your integrity isn't for sale.

    +1

Even further, I'll go on to state that should Trump get elected, I will give him my full support and respect as POTUS, if for no other reason than to make myself a better person than the Republicans who refused to do so for Obama and will refuse to do so for Hillary.

While unfortunate, creating Zima isn't actually against the law lol

Fair enough, so just say that you are happy about her getting away with it due to partisanship rather than trying to deflect for her. I mean, just say "I don't care what crimes she committed, she's a Democrat" since that's what you mean.

My integrity? How so? My integrity has a far far lower opinion of Trump. Are you going to vote for him? Because if so you then have 0 integrity. Fact is you are a partisan, which to me shows a lack of integrity.

Have you ever voted for a dem before? I have voted for plenty of republicans.

I vote for the person who I think will do the best job. That's integrity right there.

Did you not see the melodrama in mojoman's post? Traitors? Really? That sort of delusional reaction is high comedy whatever side of the political fence you are on.

    I don't think she committed a crime. I think she screwed-up, but that's not a crime.

The FBI director explained today that she did. When you mishandle classified information due to gross negligence then you are committing a crime and he stated there was evidence of that.

Given that you've admitted to being just a partisan hack who is taking up for her simply because she's a Democrat, it's not surprising that you'd convince yourself she did nothing wrong but those with basically any credibility whatsoever would have to admit that she did commit a crime at this point.

If you treated secret documents like she did you would go to jail. Mishandling secret documents when you have security clearance is illegal.

She placed the security of our country beneath her own personal ambitions when her job was Secretary of State. She didn't do this because of her lack of understanding of IT policy she did it so she could protect herself from the prying eyes of the American public.

Her husband met with her special prosecutor in a private meeting... this family spits in the face of the American people and people like yourself excuse them for it... she just screwed up..

What you "think" she did is where your partisan views taint the conversation because what she actually did is far worse than just screw up.

So the director of the Fbi has no credibility?

He never said there was no crime committed, he said that a prosecutor wouldn't take up the case. In fact he did say that there was evidence that the law had been broken.

Then why exactly did the director of the FBI not recommend prosecution? It makes no sense for a sworn officer of the federal government to not recommend indictment if a crime took place, right? What was his reason?

I did. It was partisan and over the top. It is indicative of the feelings of many on the right.

I chose to ignore it for 2 reasons.

    1. Given the nature of today's developments, it is understandable people would get emotional.

    2. It is irrelevant to the topic listed.

As to the high comedy characterization, I find nothing funny about today's news.

Why in the world would a prosecutor not take a case that is prosecutable?

    In this case?

    Political pressure.
Directed to drop the case by their boss.
    Partisanship.
    Quid pro quo deals.

That's 4 reasons I can think of just off the top of my head.
