MJ, 10 bucks for another ring. Come teach us to play poker. We only know how to wreck Clash of the Clans!
They probably still need one more center and another backup guard, along with Barbosa. Curry/ Livingston / xxx Klay / Barbosa Durant / Iguodala Green / West / Looney Zaza / yyy / Jones Your main bench unit will probably be Livingston, Klay, AI, West, yyy, can also shift Durant in and play west at center for small stretches depending on matchup.
LOL Why is D.West getting so much "hate", more so than the main man himself? He gave up 12 MILLION + whatever he could have made this year for two one-year minimum deals. Player goes for the money: "He don't care about winning!" Player goes for the ring: "Come on man, are you serious!?" They are too stacked. Karma will strike back in the form of a blown ACL for Curry or Klay losing his shooting hand in a freak wood-chipper accident.
Yep. He DEFINITELY put his money where his mouth was. Gotta respect that. I really don't want to see the warriors ring again, but I wouldn't mind D. West getting one!
i can't really fault david west for just wanting to play out his career on good teams that could win championships, but at some point doesn't it just kind of seem pathetic? it somehow seems a little more noble if you pick one team and chase there, like staying in SA. look at robert parish joining the '97 bulls. at some point, who cares that you won the ring? presumably the point of winning a ring is for some sense of accomplishment, right? guys like parish are almost a punch line like "oh yeah, remember robert parish was still hanging around on that team." just sitting on the bench and clapping for people who won the ring? ok, i guess if you just want that camaraderie, then knock yourself out. but winning a ring isn't what you are doing. although i suppose west will actually get in games.
This make me Appreciate BOB HORRY MORE He went to teams and MADE THEM BETTER HE didn't Ring w**** around Rocket River
This is why people talking about the "parity" caused by removing max contracts would be wrong, you will still have midlevel players signing for vet mins to win a ring. Instead of being value-adds, these guys would instead be the difference makers in terms of competitiveness.
