If that were to happen, it would render the regular season meaningless. We can all just sit back and wait for the inevitable Finals three-match between Cleveland and Golden State.

it is already meaningless after Durant signed in GSW. Wade or no Wade will not change a thing.

I disagree there. Wade, LeBron, and Kyrie all on one team? That would give the Warriors a run for their money. Especially since the Cavs have a solid inside presence in Thompson. With Bogut(and probably Ezeli) gone, Golden State is really vulnerable in the paint.

Kevin Love is overrated and has to go.... to make room of course.

I dont' agree at all. Warriors are all able to play off the ball while Wade+Lebron not so much and Zaza may not look like it but he's a very smart positional defender.

Anyway..what matters? It won't happen. And the RS is already meaningless one way or another.

You kidding me. I saw a Wade that turn into 'Jordan' for a couple games in Playoffs. With Lebron and Kyrie in there to take away the defense, you better bet that's going happen very easily. They need to work out a deal to trade Love. They don't need that guy.

    Irving
    Wade
    James
    Smith
Thompson and they still have Jefferson off the bench.

I would bring Wade off the bench.
Adding him definitely would increase their chances of upsetting the Warriors.
Either way though, Wade is upset about the money in Miami. No way he leaves both his legacy and money for Cleveland

He doesn't have to leave the money. The Cavs need to find a way to dump Love and make room for him.

Yeah they don't need Kevin Love when they got Channing Fyre at half the price. Trade Love and sign Wade with money leftover.

Yea, the league really was in shambles during the Magic-Bird dynasty years. Some of the comments here about the league being dead because of KD going there and Wade possibly to CLE, did you guys think the same back then?

Then that wouldn't make them better, nor increase the chances of beating the Warriors. He may not have played that well, but the Cavs still need Love. He did come up big in a few ways in Game 7, and I think their best chance of improving is having Kevin Love improve within their system.

NBA is turning into a complete circus clown show. Never would've thought in 10 years it would turn into this. Players nowadays don't have the same drive, heart or competitiveness they once did smh

Even if they get rid of Love for no salary back, they still have no room. Currently as it stands, the Cavs are $26 million over the cap. Unless both Lebron & Wade both decide to take huge paycuts even after a Love trade, it's not going to happen. If that happens, I personally think that's even more egregious than the Durant signing. At least Durant signed for the max or very close to max.

For the Durant mess, I blame the players union. They rejected NBA's plan for a step wise cap increase over several years. Without this years large cap increase, it would be almost impossible for the Warriors to sign Durant to a max contract without breaking up their core(the Warriors have to clear alot more cap space & there would be far far fewer teams with available capspace to act as dumping ground)

Lebron could be the PF/SF combo and let Frye come off the bench. Having Wade, Irving, Smith is going to be fun... Wade wants to do the Lebron thing and make plays but nobody on that Miami team was good enough... So Wade can catch and shoot or pass it to any of the other dudes. It will be amazing to watch. With the Rockets sucking this much I would be a Cavs fan for next season.

It will be hard to hate Cleveland if this happens...

They stand the best chance to take the Warriors out, because of their easy ride to the finals.
